December 2018 Horoscopes

Last horoscopes of 2018, and today (7th) is the annual new moon in Sagittarius. Mercury moves forward again now too, after communication has been... well... interesting at times (in other words, frustrating). New moon is always a fresh start though, and this one might be the start of a whole new chapter.

Aries
21st March – 20th April
It’s a month of paradox and contradiction, for example there’s a new moon in your travel and education chart on 7th, which energises your desire to get moving on some new journeys; yet you’re also feeling you need more retreat or seclusion, to nourish and reconnect. The answer is maybe a spiritual path, or learning something that feeds your soul, rather than just provides a qualification. Then on 21st it’s the winter solstice, marking the approach of holiday season, yet you are more in the mood to make serious long-term plans and commitments, than lose yourself in frivolous party madness. Balance is the key, but it’s a very productive time for working to build a future.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
December might bring back some unfinished business from September or November, but this time there are solutions coming with it, especially in relationships and partnerships. The new moon on 7th is about stepping forward into new territory, despite the uncertainty of the unknown. It’s not always easy energy this month, it can be hard to muster enthusiasm for certain things and certain people seem intent on taking the easy way out regardless of its impact on you; but when it all works this month, it really works well and feels worth the hassle. Around winter solstice time on 21st, under a nurturing and nourishing full moon, is a good example of this.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Mercury your ruling planet is moving forward from 6th, which means you are too, maybe with a refreshed or re-inspired approach to some problem situations, and perhaps delays or obstacles lift and smooth out. This coincides with a new moon in your relationship chart on 7th, which is a powerful sign of new beginnings in love or career in coming weeks, but especially around solstice time on 21st, when union and partnership are the main themes. It won’t always be as easy to see the path ahead as it is around 21st, but it’s always easy to follow it from the heart.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Unfinished business from a few months ago might return to be resolved as December opens, maybe linked to home or family, or maybe to creative projects that seemed to stall or move backwards for a time. New moon on 7th in your chart of health and fitness might mean you start early with some new year resolutions, as this moon activates your sensible side and problem-solving skills and sees any challenge as an adventure. On 22nd the annual full moon in your sign is about you and your relationships for the rest of the year, where certain situations are coming to a head, while other situations are coming to fulfilment.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Home and family matters that were stuck or at stalemate in previous months have a real chance of being sorted during December. Meanwhile, the sun is energising your chart of creativity, fun and enjoyment for much of the month, which means all artistic endeavours, creative projects and entertainment will energise and enliven you. Romance is also part of this, and new moon on the 7th indicates new beginnings or a turnaround for matters of the heart, especially around winter solstice time on 21st. From 22nd you have your practical and sensible head on, yet your intuition still inspires inventive solutions just when you need them.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Home and family are an important focus for you this month, with a new moon of new beginnings in this area of your chart on the 7th. At the same time, your ruling planet Mercury moves forward again after weeks of taking backward steps, so the sense of looking forward to the future is tangible at this time, with perhaps a literal change of direction in certain situations. Relationships can be confusing and maybe it’s hard to feel motivated about them at times this month, but there’s also a rather romantic atmosphere too, especially around winter solstice time on 21st. Full moon on 22nd heightens the emotions and opens the door to more fun, friendship and good times.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Expect the unexpected as the month opens, as well as some unfinished business from early September or November, perhaps linked to finances or income. This time there are solutions arriving with it. A new moon in your communication chart on 7th indicates new talks and discussions during December that lay foundations of future plans. Also, delays end on sending or receiving communication or information, especially around winter solstice time, when communication (and travel) is extremely positive indeed. Focus moves to home and family at that time, and the full moon on 22nd is all about carving out some comfort zone time.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
What was left unfinished or delayed back in September or November might be cleared and dealt with this month, especially after new moon on 7th, which is all about new income and resources over the next few weeks. It’s also about a new sense of self-worth, as a result of recognising your own resourcefulness and don’t let a temporary creative block or lack of motivation stop you seeing that. Around winter solstice time on 21st brings a bit of luck and good fortune, maybe a windfall, or maybe some doors open on new horizons. It’s about romance too. Whatever form it takes, it’s a time of good vibes and positive energy.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 20th December
There’s a lot this month about staying flexible, with thoughts, plans, and people, as they all seem to be inconsistent or hard to pin down at times. The annual new moon in your sign on 7th is like your personal new year. It’s a time for setting intentions for weeks and months to come, and to welcome some new beginnings, perhaps linked to home and family. There might be some new directions or a change in direction at that time too. Solstice time on 21st, is also about change and renewal, with a focus on your finances, purchases and income. Synchronicity and odd coincidences get your attention too, which always means you’re in balance and on track.

Capricorn
21st December – 20th January
Often early December is a reflective or quiet time for you, while you prepare and formulate plans for the coming weeks, but this month might be busier as there’s plenty of activity and movement in the most social and friendly part of your chart. Events might link back to September or November relating to friends, groups, or gatherings, and there’s movement forward in situations generally that takes little effort or push to get going, especially around winter solstice time on 21st. Sun moves into your sign on 21st, and an emotional full moon on 22nd is about balancing or changing priorities in your most important relationships.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Unfinished business from September or November might be return and be resolved this month. You have learned a lot since certain ongoing situations started, so your wisdom of experience is the game changer. This might be connected to jobs and career, but it’s also any kind of long-term plans or ambition you’ve been working on. New moon on 7th is about friendship, groups and gatherings. It’s about new beginnings or opportunities in coming weeks to expand social life and meet kindred spirits. Winter solstice time, around 21st, is very much about doors opening for this. The full moon also at that time is about taking care of you, not just everyone else.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
If you’ve been waiting to get going with long-term plans or career goals, there’s a big green light first half of December. You aren’t in the most motivated of moods at that time so maybe the energy of the second half of December might suit you better, especially around winter solstice on 21st, as the planets speak of you being ready for the new opportunities around you. Love is in the air from that time too, as there’s a really romantic vibe in relationships. A full moon in your chart of fun and entertainment on 22nd means there’s plenty of enjoyment still to be had before the year ends too.

November 2018 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
New and exciting journeys await, as Jupiter moves to your travel and education chart from the 8th, for the next year. Last time Jupiter was here was 2006/7, so look back to then to see the life expansion and wisdom of experience you’ve gained. Jupiter is about broadening horizons, learning and growing, as well as your faith and belief system. It’s considered to be the planet of luck, good fortune, and good vibes; maybe because it inspires such confidence in the road ahead. Mercury Retrograde, the Sun, and Jupiter are together for the final week of November. A rare line-up, which is likely to coincide with faith being rewarded in powerful and significant ways.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Something that has simmered for months is reaching readiness around 7th, during a deep and meaningful new moon in your partnership chart. Maybe linked to work, maybe love, maybe both. On 8th Jupiter, planet of wisdom, faith, and good fortune, moves to your chart of trust and transformation for the next year, meaning a journey of change and uncertainty will feel more like an adventure than ever. This might be most tangible during final week, when a rare line-up of planets shows meaningful meetings and positive moves are on the horizon. Before that, on 16th your ruler Venus ends retrograde, which means you’re ready for a change in direction, especially after weeks of reviewing or revising your current one.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
So much going on this month, mostly focusing around relationship and partnership. Jupiter is your relationship planet, and it’s moving into this area of your chart on the 8th, for the next year. Last time was 2006/7, so think back to what happened then and how things have evolved. It’s now a new cycle for relationship, partnership, contracts and agreements, based on the wisdom of your experience gained since then. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde from 17th, so the past is meeting present in other significant ways too. Full moon in your sign on 23rd might end stuck situations, and final week, especially around 27th is about soulmate meetings and destined unions.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
A new moon of new potential on the 7th is nurturing your creative projects and helping whatever you pour your heart into to come to fruition in coming weeks and months. From 8th, Jupiter, planet of opportunity, positivity, and increase, moves to your chart of daily schedules, occupation, health and fitness for the next year. It can mean moving jobs or promotions, or a more supportive atmosphere at work. It’s also about faith in solutions and problem-solving, as Jupiter’s mantra is ‘ask and it is given’. Jupiter’s influence is unusually powerful during last week of November, so expect events that uplift and restore faith.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Certain relationships, contracts or agreements, have had ongoing issues with no resolution for a long time, but this month might bring communication that finalises issues or opens a new chapter. A new moon in your home and family chart on 7th means positive change and transformation there, and from 8th, Jupiter, the planet of faith, confidence and opportunity, moves to your chart of creativity and romance for the next year. It means Jupiter will open, expand and develop your creative potential, and restore faith in matters of the heart. Fun, entertainment and good times are likely to increase too, starting with the final week of November.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
A deep and meaningful new moon on 7th suggests it’s all about communicating your truth and getting the message across. New contacts, conversation and information are likely to be important. Jupiter, planet of opportunity and expansion is moving into your chart of home and family from the 8th, for the next year. Last time was 2006/7 so look back to see how it worked for you then. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde from 17th and stands next to the sun and Jupiter for final week. This is a rare and significant alignment that might bring memorable events linked to reconnecting with family or the past, renewing or expanding home, or moving key relationships forward.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
November is a pivotal month of new starts, changes in direction, and patience rewarded. Jupiter, planet of expansion and good fortune, moves to your communication chart from 8th, for the next year. It means increase and growth linked to conversation and information, and if you’ve ever harboured a wish to write or talk for a living, 2019 would be a good year to start. Faith and patience in relationships might be rewarded around this time too (especially linked to events early October) when Venus moves forward from 16th. Final week has a rare meeting of planets that means important meetings and conversations for you where you shine your light bright.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
It’s an important month for you. The annual new moon in your sign on the 7th is like a personal new year for you, so November is like a blank slate for new intentions. On the 8th, Jupiter, planet of faith and optimism, moves to your income and ownership chart for the next year. Last time was late 2006/7, so look back to then to see how you’ve built and expanded on what started at that time. Jupiter is traditionally about good fortune and luck, so keep the faith and self-belief high to get the best out of it. Events around 22nd and especially 27th might give you an indication of how this energy is working for you.

Sagittarius
22nd November – 21st December
Jupiter is your ruling planet and it arrives in your sign on 8th to stay for the next year. Last time was 2006/7, so look back to then to see how life expanded in positive ways. Jupiter is the planet of plenty; it traditionally brings good fortune and increase, as well as a broadening of horizons through travel and learning (also a broadening of the waistline perhaps as this is a planet all about enjoying the good life). The sun moves into your sign on 22nd, under the light of a fulfilling full moon for relationships, and end of month looks interesting with Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury retrograde in your sign, perhaps indicating faith being restored.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
From the 8th, for the next year, Jupiter, planet of faith, belief, and good fortune, is in your chart of destiny, fate, and going with the flow. It means surrendering to the positive perspective of a situation and faith rewarded for doing so. Not easy for a realist, as it seems sensible to notice the pros and cons of everything, but it doesn’t mean stick on the rose-coloured glasses and carry on regardless; it’s about getting grounded in the idea there’s a bigger picture we don’t always see, that the pieces fit better than we can place them, and that the universe always has our backs. Final week of November is powerfully all about this.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
There are a few situations that have been rumbling on for too long without resolution or answers, but you might see light at the end of the tunnel during November. Around new moon time on 7th has biggest potential for this, and it’s also about new beginnings linked to career, status, long-term plans and ambitions. On 8th, Jupiter, planet of faith, increase, and abundance, moves to your chart of friendship, groups, and gatherings, for the next year. It’s a big deal because where Jupiter goes, opportunities appear. It’s about finding like-minds, and those on your wavelength, and the good stuff that comes from that. Events during final week of November powerfully opens you to all this.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
There’s a deep and meaningful new moon on 7th, which means November is filled with new ways of seeing situations, new roads and paths to travel, and a broadening of horizons with discoveries to made and treasure to unearth. Jupiter, planet of opportunity and increase, is moving into your career and ambition chart this month, for the next year. It was last here 2006/7, so look back to then to see how any long-term plans and goals expanded and evolved. Jupiter’s influence is strong this month, especially from 22nd, and through the family focused full moon on 23rd; but it’s especially strong during final week, when you feel you’re moving forward again in a powerful way.

Venus Retrograde October 2018

From October 5th until November 15th 2018, planet Venus is retrograde, which speaks of transformation, rebirth and reunion for all relationships, but especially love and romance. Venus is in the sign of Scorpio until late October, so the mood is deep, intense, passionate and mysterious.
Unfinished business is likely to resurface, absent lovers might return, either physically or emotionally, and it’s a time when we might get the urge to dig deeper into situations, maybe play detective or investigate motives and get to the heart of hidden agendas, in others and in ourselves.

Scorpio is focused on what lies beneath the surface, what treasure is hidden underneath appearances; what thoughts and feelings are really going on deep down. Venus in Scorpio situations are like the proverbial iceberg, with only the tip visible while underneath there is a whole lot more going on that is hidden away from view. Scorpio-style relationship dynamics can be tricky at the best of times, with issues around trust, intimacy, control, and unknown territory. Add the retrograde energy into that mix and there’s even more going on, all at once.

But don’t fear old hurts or wounds being reopened, or maybe some old arguments resurfacing, as it might be chance to clear the air and end power struggles. Scorpio energy supports emotional healing, so It’s the right time for counselling, therapy, or for any healing journey to really have some impact as Scorpio is the sign of emotional renewal, rebirth and regeneration. From the dark night of the soul, Scorpio moves us to the light at the end of tunnel.

The new moon in Libra which happens around 9th October, depending on time zone, is the most relationship focused moon of 2018. New moons are about new beginnings and a great time to set intentions for the future. A new moon in Libra is all about new beginnings for love and partnership with new intentions for balance and harmony within, and with others.

Planet Venus (ruler of Libra) is in a rare dance of union and reunion with planet Mars during this retrograde phase. These two planets represent the masculine and feminine nature, the yin and yang which is in us all, and balanced perfectly through the Libra scales of fairness, equality and justice.

Venus reverses from Scorpio back into Libra late October, while the sun moves from Libra to Scorpio. A deep and intense new moon in Scorpio on November 7th reflects how deep the Venus retrograde journey has taken you since October 5th. Reflecting on your own journey during that time might show you how much relationships have transformed and are continuing to give you the chance to choose love, forgiveness, healing, and healthy change. This is the new moon to affirm the new you as far as relationships go. Partnerships are different because you are different!

Venus retrograde ends mid-November, meaning Venus is moving forward again, and so are relationships; transformed and renewed.

October 2018 Horoscopes

Back posting after a long break! Moving house and jobs and pretty much everything at once (and during a heatwave too) meant it was an intense summer of change for me. The planets still promise us plenty to look forward to before 2018 ends, starting with Venus retrograde this month. Find out below what that might mean for your sign...

Aries
21st March – 20th April
It’s the most relationship focused month of the year. Partnership planet Venus retrogrades from 5th, which means you’re reviewing and reassessing important relationships until mid-November. It also means unfinished business is making itself known, including the return or reconnection of old faces or places from the past. Your ruler Mars is meeting Venus during the new moon of balance and harmony, and it’s important as Mars is in new territory for the first time in months, which means you are too. Balancing themes of rebirth and renewal with stability and security is the message of a financially focused full moon (24th), and you might find some unconventional ways of doing so.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
While you aren’t particularly in the mood to rock the boat with partners, the planets are pushing for what’s real rather than peace at any price, so have the uncomfortable conversation, be less guarded and risk more openness. There’s a feeling of being in new territory with relationships, which increases uncertainty and the unknown but like deja-vu, in the sense of having been here before and now in a whole new way. Transformation, rebirth and renewal is the theme of October in many areas of your life, and a dynamic and empowering full moon in your sign on 24th emphasises the sweet relief in releasing the past for the freedom of the future.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
The sun is in your house of creativity, fun, and entertainment until 23rd, which means life keeps revolving around that. It’s about romance and matters of the heart too, and you’re laying your cards on the table but there’s no game playing here; there’s truth and real intimacy to be uncovered and discovered if you aren’t invested in power struggles or control dramas. There’s also a theme of rebirth and renewal all month, especially around full moon on 24th, when you’re radically clearing clutter (emotional as well as physical) to transform and reorder your space and your time

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
The new moon on 6th carries a message of transformation and change at home and especially for partnerships and significant relationships as Venus, planet of love and money, is retrograde until mid-November. This means you’re reviewing or taking stock, as well as reconnecting with faces and places from the past, for closure or regeneration. Some doors are closing, but the cliché of other doors opening because of it is true. Events around full moon on 24th might be the result of a build-up or bottling up of emotion mixed with the desire to break free of what feels controlling or unmoving. Some of it has been a long time coming, but it all requires TLC and a gentle touch.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
The sun is in your communication chart until 23rd, and there’s a theme of unfinished business or sorting the past out somehow. Venus (love and money) is retrograde from 5th until mid-November, which again means the past is important in these areas. It links strongly to home and family, and early childhood, which might mean nostalgia and memories that reconnect you with faces or places from the past. Trust and intimacy, and what you can and can’t control about situations, are huge themes this month, especially around a freedom-seeking full moon on 24th in your career and long-term plans chart, when alternative, unconventional, or unexpected paths appear, opening your mind to new possibilities.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
A new moon in your finance and resources chart indicates new beginnings related to income or property. The energy of this time is very much about renewal and rebirth, and this is about bringing balance and maintaining equilibrium. There’s likely to be significant communication or discussions involved; perhaps unfinished business from the past resurfaces, or you’re reconnecting to the past in some way, especially in relationships. Your detective mind is looking for clues and uncovering the truth this month, and an unpredictable full moon on 24th brings things to a head, including a strong need for space and time for yourself.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
The sun is in your sign until 23rd, brightening and energising your birthday month. The annual new moon in your sign on the 6th is a personal new year when ideas and intentions can take root for the year ahead. This new moon has a ‘clear the clutter’ theme, with the sense that renewal and regeneration is happening, especially linking to home and family; so maybe there are home moves or makeovers in store. Your ruler Venus is retrograde from 5th until mid-November, which is about unfinished business, or the past resurfacing, especially in relationships but with a focus on finance and property too, especially at full moon time on 24th.

Scorpio
23rd October – 22nd November
The world is more on the Scorpio wavelength this month than ever before. So you understand October’s key themes of power, control, transformation and rebirth keenly, and you can see any games being played and the real dynamics behind situations. Your job this month is to stay true to yourself to allow others to be true to themselves, so don’t lose balance and get swept up in drama (and there’s likely to be drama even from the most unlikely of people), or you’ll cloud your amazing perception and insight. An intense relationship full moon around the 24th tests your mettle on this; someone needs freedom (it could be you) and someone needs trust (it could be them).

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
A lot of action is behind the scenes this month, meaning you might look like a serene swan on the surface but underneath your legs are swimming like crazy; so give others a break for not noticing all your hard work, as they can’t see the full picture right now. New moon on 9th is about things being made right, and unfairness being balanced. Perhaps involving unfinished business from the past. From 11th you might notice communication moving forward, or writers block dissolving, for the first time in months. Then full moon on 24th amplifies the theme of regeneration and renewal, in unusual and unexpected ways, while a feeling of fate or destiny threads through love and relationships around 29th.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
This month you’re ready to invest in what you value. Perhaps you’ve had to wait to do this as delays, obstacles, or just a redirection of time or energy made you feel the odds were against you, but not anymore. New moon on 9th is about new career moves, and renewed efforts towards long-term plans, and you aren’t leaving anything to chance. Is this control freakery or is it just being careful? Who knows, but it works. As October continues it becomes clear it’s not what you know but who you know, and also about stepping into the unknown. Events around the full moon on 24th might emphasis this theme in powerful and unexpected ways.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
It’s the season of bringing things into balance, like balancing the books or some karma. Whatever it is, there’s a depth and intensity to events that you can’t be half-hearted about. From about the 11th, you’re in new territory as far as your approach to certain situations goes, for the first time in a long time, as most of the summer has been about going over old ground, reaching to the past, or feeling a bit stuck, but things are different this month. Relationships are about unfinished business, renewal and regeneration; especially at the radical and highly charged full moon on 24th, which is about trust and intimacy versus freedom and space.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
In your opinion it takes two to build trust, and October is about that process in new or renewed relationships; especially the long-distance ones. Venus, planet of love and money, is retrograde from the 5th until mid-November, which means unfinished business needs finishing, and relationships are about connecting to the past to transform the present. Travel and education are big themes for you, especially from 23rd, as it’s about transforming your perspective and mindset via new horizons. Events around the powerful full moon on 24th reflect all this, and also your competing desires of more stability and security on the one hand, versus the need to break routine and do something completely different.

May 2018 Horoscopes

Here are my horoscopes for May, and it's a mega month for all, with planet Uranus changing signs from Aries (where it's been since 2011), to Taurus where it will stay for the next 8 years. Find out below what that means for all signs.

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Since 2011, freedom planet Uranus has been in your sign, indicating breakthroughs, break-ups and breakdowns that shook you from the past, and from habits and routines that weren’t serving you. It’s been a time when you’ve been restless enough to take more risks than usual and taken leaps of faith from the well-trodden path, into pastures new; sometimes suddenly or unexpectedly. You’ve also become a catalyst for others to do the same, and you’ve found kindred spirits on your wavelength. This month Uranus leaves your sign and begins a new journey, shaking up situations related to income, resources, property, self-worth and values; so expect change and revolution in those areas (until 2026!).

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
You are centre of all the astro action this month. The sun is recharging your sign until 21st, and your annual new moon on the 15th indicates seeds of new beginnings are being sown. On the same day planet Uranus moves into your sign, for the first time since 1934, to stay until 2026. Uranus is the planet that revolutionises and updates our lives, shaking us free of the past, or indeed anything that isn’t really ‘us’ at heart. When this planet is active it’s common to feel a sense of restlessness, and a desire to break free of current routines; not just for the sake of it but to find space and freedom to stay true to yourself.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Since 2011 revolutionary planet Uranus has been changing and updating friendships, support network, and links with groups and gatherings (look back and see how things have changed for the better since then). It hasn’t always been easy, convenient, or comfortable, but has brought you closer to kindred spirits who understand the real ‘you’. From midmonth till 2026, Uranus is doing similar with your spiritual path, your dreams and insights, and the ways you relax and escape from life stress. Destiny and fate arrive in unconventional, sudden or unexpected ways; starting with the sun into your sign from 21st, followed by a relationship themed final week, including a fulfilling full moon on 29th.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Since 2011, planet Uranus in your career, ambition and status chart has indicated change, disruption, and unexpected twists and turns. It’s been a time when the unconventional or alternative routes paid off more than sticking with your normal path, and looking back from then to now, you’ll notice how you’re now living more authentically in that area of life. This month, on the new moon of new beginnings (15th), Uranus begins an 8 year journey to do the same in your friendship, hopes and dreams chart. It means friends, groups and gatherings will be about kindred spirits that anchor you more deeply in your truest self and awaken exciting new dreams for the future.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Since 2011, planet Uranus has been in your chart of travel, education, and broadening horizons. Which means you’ve been on quite a journey since then; either literally or as a learning curve, with experiences that led to big changes in how you see things. These changes are a foundation for what happens next, as Uranus moves to your chart of long-term aims and ambition (especially in career and love) this month, to update and change things until 2026. It’s all designed to anchor you on your true path, so while change can be unexpected or unsettling at times, there’s more security and comfort in living true to yourself.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s big change on the horizon this month as planet Uranus ends its stay in your trust and transformation chart, where it’s been since 2011. The past 8 years has changed you in many ways, and circumstances have been an eye-opener and awakener in the realm of shared resources and finances, trust and intimacy. But you’re more authentic and true to yourself as a result, and ready for Uranus to work its magic in the realm of travel and education. From 15th (new moon), new and exciting experiences are in store related to how you think about and see the world, with leaps of faith and unexpected twists and turns to unsettle, surprise and delight you.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Since 2011 planet Uranus has been in your relationship chart, which meant all relationships have been going through big changes, breakthroughs and/or break-ups. Uranus is the planet of bright ideas and new exciting updates, so life has been seldom boring in the partnership department, and if it was, you weren’t afraid to shake things up a bit. So thinking back to 2011 notice how much more true to yourself you are as a partner today, and how much more authentic all your relationships are. This is the kind of revolution that Uranus brings, and from 15th it’s moving on to do the same in the realm of your shared resources and finances, trust issues, transformations and make-overs.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
A very interesting month ahead. Since 2011 planet Uranus has been in your health and healing chart, indicating disruption, change, and breakthrough. Uranus is about where we update our thinking and attitude; and shake off old habits and routines to start living in the future we desire. Full Moon in Scorpio 30th April 2018 - Emotional Renewal

The fabulous full moon in Scorpio takes place at 2am in the UK, but the time and date might differ according to your local time zone.

This full moon means the sun in the sign of Taurus is standing exactly opposite moon in Scorpio, and it’s a full moon that encourages us all to feel deeply; it has emotional intensity and carries healing, transformation and rebirth.

Taurus is an earthy sign associated with the material world and it's security: money, finances, income, property and purchases. Its about what we value and what our values point to within ourselves. Scorpio is an emotional sign, associated with our inner being, and also the hidden inner world of others too. Physicality is the tip of the iceberg, and Scorpio is about what lies beneath.

It’s also about emotional depths, and speaks of how situations can appear so different on the surface to how they really are deep down or behind closed doors. It’s about feelings or emotions that are hidden, buried, or unresolved, sometimes from a long time ago, that are triggered by current circumstances.

Unfinished Business
Full moon in Scorpio is always a time for healing unfinished business, but this one even more so, as Saturn joins up positively to this moon, indicating it’s a time of support, productivity and responsible action. Full moon indicates buried treasure, while Saturn is the plan and the procedure to dig deep for it.

There's a strong link back 6 months (moons) ago, to when it was all the opposite way round, with the sun in Scorpio and full moon in Taurus on November 4th. Scorpio is often about surrendering the need to control the uncontrollable, and that takes trust. It’s trusting that the unknown or uncertain aspects of a situation aren’t necessarily going to be the spanner in the works; and that you don’t have to micro manage every detail in order for things to work out. Look back from Nov 4th to now and you might see how this has been true.

Preparation
There’s also a very powerful meeting between desire planet Mars, and Pluto, which is Scorpio's ruler and a planet of rebirth and transformation. It means that situations from now until the beautiful new moon in Taurus on 15th are likely to involve letting go and healing from old, icky, and toxic feelings in order to clear space for new emotional experiences, and for situations to feel more secure and stable.

Here in the UK it’s that time of year that the garden needs to be dug over, cleared, and cut back; ready for the summer. This is the Taurus/Scorpio mix of earthy Taurus soil with hidden Scorpio depths, that needs reworking in order to clear the clutter, ready for new growth.

And likewise now is the time to metaphorically turn the soil and get those emotional weeds out, to make room for exactly what you want you want to grow in future. The new moon in Taurus in a fortnight is about what’s ready to bloom and blossom in striking ways, and this period is preparing the ground for that to happen.

New Moon In Pisces, 17th March 2018

At 1.11pm UK time on 17th, it's the annual new moon in Pisces. New moon is next to the healing asteroid Chiron and square to fiery Mars. New moons are about new beginnings and seeds sown that will grow and bear fruit later, and with Chiron and the sign of Pisces, it’s a very healing new moon indeed.

The watery sign of Pisces is about big emotional waves of wonder and reverie; be it via love, romance, art, music, stories, religion, food, drugs or alcohol, it’s about how, where and why we want to be moved by strong currents of dreams, desire and yearning. The bigger the better. The more sacred and cherished the better.

Because of this, one of the keywords for Pisces is ‘surrender’. Surrendering to the experience; giving up, giving over and going with the flow of it. It’s about non-resistance, non-defensiveness. No bounds and no limits. It’s a vulnerable, open, divine, and irresistible place to be.

Chiron is unresolved wounds and hurts resurfacing in order to experience the relief of the remedy. Mars is that masculine or yang drive for action and pursuit of goals and desires. Mars square to chiron this week has brought up a lot of old wounds and hurts connected to the Mars or masculine issues, but the new moon is a powerful symbol of a new phase, in which we surrender to the remedy, answer, or solution.

So for example, in the past you or others might have acted (Mars) in ways that felt hurtful (Chiron) to you, and this new moon energy is calling forth a powerful new emotional response (moon) in answer to all that. Perhaps the one who feels hurt will receive an antidote or solution, or perhaps the perpetrator redeems themselves somehow.

Or maybe it’s emotional hurt from the disillusionment of chasing the rainbows of our reverie, or from the disappointment of broken dreams or promises that stayed up in the air. All very Piscean issues, yet the new moon suggests seeds or fragments of a new or renewed dream that will blossom in very real ways.

Chiron in Pisces is about the emotional relief the solution brings. Mars square to Chiron suggests it’s a challenging journey to get there but the new moon is about that new sense of relief as an open door for future growth and experience.

How you can use this new moon energy to further your own healing:

In myth, Chiron was the centaur who couldn’t heal himself. He was a renowned healer of others, but for himself he never found the remedy. This new moon could be a time to revisit areas where you feel you can’t forgive yourself, or that you or someone else did something to you that can’t be undone.

Underneath hurt is often unresolved grief or loss, so Pisces style self-care of compassion, acceptance and understanding applied unconditionally might soothe or comfort in new and healing ways.

Its also a time to look at what beliefs you are surrendering to. Do you believe things about yourself that disempower you? Or make you feel sad? Or make you feel frightened? Surrender to beliefs that make you feel better, not worse.

Addictions and habits often indicate areas where we are believing things about ourselves that don't serve us, denying us the reverie of our own Soul happiness. So allowing ourselves to feel the void of our own denial, instead of numbing it out with activities or substances is the first step in finding our way to closing the gaps that our distorted self-belief has left within us. Surrendering to true happiness, unconditionally, means giving up the pain of self-denial.

Pisces is a water sign, which means it’s about emotions. Physical disease is always a symptom of underlying emotional dis-ease, so this new moon is a good opportunity to look beyond physical symptoms by looking within to the emotions and feelings that accompany the illness or condition.

Abraham Hicks have said that the conditions of any disease or illness is designed to perpetuate and support the emotion/s that are experienced during it. In other words, look at how your illness or uncomfortable situation makes you feel while suffering in it (fearful, angry, unworthy, unlovable, etc etc) and consider how that the illness or set of circumstances works to hold that very emotion in place within you.

So emotional healing, not just physical healing, is a necessary step for any ailment or unwanted situation, in order for lasting healing to occur, and this new moon is a potent symbol of new emotional healing through new emotional understanding and awareness in weeks and months to come.
These words say it all:

THE OLD HEALER TO THE SOUL:

It's not your back that hurts, but the burden.

It's not your eyes that hurt, but injustice.

It's not your head that hurts, it's your thoughts.

Not the throat, but what you don't express or say with anger.

Not the stomach hurts, but what the soul does not digest.

It's not the liver that hurts, it's the anger.

It's not your heart that hurts, but love.

And it is love itself that contains the most powerful medicine.

2018 March Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
First week is about going with the flow, which works well for you, especially full moon on 2nd (and on 4th). Mercury and Venus are together most of the month in your sign, which means whispered sweet nothings, and the power of kind and loving thoughts. Midmonth has plenty of challenges to get your teeth into and new moon on 17th has mellow healing vibes mixed with strong desire be a mover and shaker in what matters most. From 20th the sun is in your sign, energising and magnetising your hearts desire, and from 23rd the past meets present when Mercury retrogrades. End of month, storms clear the air and a clouded mind.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Keep a pen and paper by the bed as there’s a sleepless full moon on 2nd full of bright ideas and inspired solutions (also around 28th). It’s a month of fun and friendship, with focus on involvement with groups and gatherings. Teamwork flows nicely as there’s a oneness or spirit that everyone gels with. New moon on 17th is about new beginnings linked to all this and some powerful healing vibes too. Spring equinox on 20th energises your spiritual chart. So does Mercury retrograde from 23rd when past meets present. Final week you’re sorting priorities and feeling pushed to be more pushy about what you really want.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
This is a month of promise and potential. Positive expectation pays off. That’s not to say there aren’t challenges; (there are lots of them midmonth!) but the faith, hope and clarity indicated by planets in your aims and ambition chart will keep you buoyant and carry you downstream, instead of struggling against the current (especially 17th). The full moon (2nd) in your chart of home, family and comfort zones means you’re sorting out what matters to you deep down (beautifully on the 4th), Mercury and Venus together all month in your friendship chart means there’s a basis of harmony and happiness, and Mercury retrogrades from 23rd, so perhaps there are faces and places from the past to reconnect with.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
First week is about finding the balance between letting things ‘be’ and sorting stuff out. Mercury and Venus are together all month in your aims and ambition chart, which is great for sorting stuff, and for harmonious and direct communication with authority figures and bosses, etc. An important new moon (17th) is about new perspectives and horizons. It’s important because it carries powerful healing energy, which means answers and solutions that soften the sore points of situations. Midmonth and end of month can bring obstacles or challenges to confront, but from 20th you are so focused on moving up your ladder of success that you won’t allow much to bring you back down.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
In many ways March is about going with the flow, it’s about accepting what you can’t change (for now) and getting on with what you can, some of which might be a bit mundane or boring but still needs to be done. Like spring cleaning, you’re sorting out and clearing up, ready for what’s ahead. There are some challenges, mainly midmonth and final week, but there’s a lovely link between Mercury and Venus all month that brings harmony and happy communication that opens new horizons. There’s also a powerful new moon on 17th, in your trust and intimacy chart, that opens a door to deepening connections and healing past hurts.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
The annual full moon in your sign on 2nd is about your relationship with yourself. For some time you’ve been going through a cycle of inner growth, by processing and integrating some quite tough experiences. Now you’re feeling more complete about it all (especially around the 4th), and ready for the next step, which is about relationship with others. There are some spectacular healing energies around the new moon in your relationship chart (17th), and though there are always challenges to contend with (especially perhaps midmonth), new moons indicate new beginnings are underway. In other words, this is the beginning of deepening, softening and soothing certain relationships, and for connecting with kindred spirits and soulmates, especially ‘the one’.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
There’s lots to sort out as March gets underway, and you’re doing it your way. Relationships might be one area that changes are made, and this is seen particularly from 20th and 23rd. Your ruler, Venus, travels with Mercury all month, indicating loyalty, harmonious communication, and a sense of what to say and the right time to say it. Many planets are in your health and wellbeing chart, so this will be a focus too, and there is a healing-themed new moon on 17th which might bring up past hurts, but only because you can deal with them from your improved current perspective.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
There’s a certain amount of patience needed this month, as things seem to have their own schedule that doesn’t match your preferred pace. Frustrating at times, but it’s also a reflection of how you’re feeling about certain things: on one hand you’re wanting to move forward, on the other hand you’re not so sure. If you deal with the impatience and frustration your aiming at yourself then situations sort out too. Making peace with circumstances, lots of acceptance, giving yourself a break, and a bit of going with the flow is the solution. Also deep breaths, meditation and plenty of power naps.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
For much of the month there’s a lot revolving around home and family matters, and full moon on 2nd suggests you’re ready to get more specific and sort the details out on some long-term plans. Obstacles or delays are to be expected when there’s big stuff to sort, but there’s an underlying vibe of flow and ease this month, that you can catch in your quiet moments then situations catch it from you. It’s a creative month too; getting your message across and finding the right folk to co-create is a challenge you enjoy, possibly with links to the past, especially during final week.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Communication is key this month, with many planets focused on getting your message across, and on your superpower, which is your ability to listen (accept) what others are saying. You’re also finding information you’ve been looking for, or maybe it’s resurfacing or not lost anymore (especially by end of month). Your concentrating more on home and family matters as March goes on and there may be meetings, visits or reunions, or perhaps it’s time now to address or sort a situation that has needed attention for a while. Mars is in your sign from 17th, which is about feeling much more motivated to move forward.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Your attention is on what makes you feel secure and grounded as March gets underway, and for you that’s the ability to dream beyond current circumstances. Some accuse you of having your head in the clouds, but it’s not escapism, you are literally magnetising and manifesting new circumstances by imagining where you want to go, and what could be more secure and grounded than that? So this month is about holding your focus on what you want, regardless of what others have to say (especially midmonth and final week). You also have a lot to say to others, as communication is increasingly important, especially from 20th. It’s a month like no other for information, messages and making (and breaking) contacts.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Full moon on 2nd puts relationship and partnership in the spotlight. It’s about getting clear emotionally and feeling more empowered, whether it’s romance, family or career relationships. The first week of March in general can be really good for you, as planets in your sign are energising and inspiring (especially 4th). From midmonth you need focus and patience to navigate finances and career plans, then the annual new moon in Pisces (17th) is about a new you in some way, and a new image or approach suits you. From 20th and especially final week, finances, income and property are under review or returning to the past somehow, as are links to friends, teamwork, and groups.

Up to midmonth there’s a powerful meeting of Jupiter and Mars in your income and resources chart, which indicates lots of activity and expansion in that area, and this links to home and family life somehow too (echoes of events early December might also be relevant). From 20th you’re focused on creativity, fun and entertainment, and the full moon eclipse on 30th is about turning points in friendships.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
2018 starts powerfully, with a supermoon on 2nd, and Jupiter and Mars meeting in your sign all second week (strongest around 8th). Jupiter indicates opportunity and self-confidence while Mars is about action and movement. Together they suggest you can achieve a huge amount in a short time. Communication, information, learning, local area, and transport are all in focus and productive and constructive, with events revolving around responsibility, authority, limits and boundaries. Sibling relationships remain significant too, and new moon on 17th is about new paths of stability and structure. It’s a formidable union indicating deep and meaningful experiences of faith, belief, and opportunity. And you do have a practical head on your shoulders for most of January, enjoying new responsibility, hard work and productivity Mars moves into your sign from 26th, which means you’re active and energetic, then a full moon eclipse on 30th in your travel and education chart suggests you’re hungry to broaden horizons in coming months.

It activates themes around transformation, deep healing, trust and intimacy, which impacts situations for weeks or months to come.

Aquarius
20th January – 18th February
The supermoon on 2nd is about feeling like you’re moving forward again. You’re focused on the nitty gritty of getting new plans and structures up and running, especially regarding career aims, but it’s also long-term plans in general. This is strongest around 8th, but is active for much of the month. Spirituality and the discipline and practice of a path like meditation or yoga is also a theme for January, and new moon on 17th is a good time for a new beginning. Sun is in your sign from 20th, and there’s a relationship eclipse on 30th which sets a theme or tone for coming months. It’s a blue moon, so maybe it’s about rare or unusual happenings.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March

Second week (especially 9th) is a powerful period of transformation and renewal, when your faith can be restored big time. New moon on 17th is about new starts for friends and groups, then momentum builds to a problem-solving full moon eclipse on 30th. Appreciation and gratitude work like magic at this time.
