December 2015 Horoscopes

Last scopes for 2015!

Aries
21st March – 20th April
The past 3 years have seen a lot of changes in your life, impacting and transforming your career, long term plans and ambition. You’ve surprised yourself at times, never mind others, with some of your choices for the future and your breaks with the past, in the quest to remain true to yourself. December is another chapter in all this. It’s possible there’ll be more breaks with the past and maybe bridges burnt in certain relationships, contracts or agreements (especially midmonth and around winter solstice time on the 22nd) as it’s a powerful and volatile vibe stirring up situations. This is good and productive as long as you engage your heart before action.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
It’s all about keeping the faith this month, and it’s easier than you could imagine as the planets indicate supportive and positive circumstances are never far away, no matter how challenging the situation. And yes there’s certainly some challenges indicated in this month’s powerful planet patterns. It’s not without reward though, and it’s not hard to see the value of the journey either, with unfinished business finally finished and a new sense of direction emerging (maybe around midmonth). Your ruler Venus moves through your relationship zone until the 30th, which deepens your involvement and commitment in whatever matters most to you. After that you’re ready for the adventure of a new year.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
The new moon in your relationship zone on the 11th symbolises powerful new direction and faith emerging in the realm of romance or business partnerships, contracts and agreements. It’s so powerful because you feel the courage of your convictions about where you’re headed, and also because big challenges evoke a big response from you. Nothing gets the better of you this month. Whenever it seems like it’s getting too much, the universe steps in somehow. It’s a refreshing change, as the past 3 years felt more of a fight. Enjoy the grounded and practical full moon on the 25th; it’s stable and satisfying at last.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Unfinished business relating to home and family relationships and/or career requires careful handling around the 6th, 9th, 11th, 13th and 20th, as intense power struggles can blow up if you or someone feels unheard or unsupported. You might feel most in the zone after the 22nd, when the winter solstice sun begins its annual journey through your relationship chart, bringing a warmth and brightness to situations, and lightening your heart and mood. The planets suggest there’s plenty of potent and positive change, though it might feel hard to let go and make a break with the past. But a full moon of comfort and joy on the 25th settles and centres you.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
So this month you have your creative and adventurous head on, which is a blessing for any sticky situation that requires your ingenuity and problem-solving skills. And there are a few of those challenging circumstances about, especially around midmonth, and 20th to 22nd; but it doesn’t seem to matter how intense the going gets, you still get to where you want to be. Serendipity and synchronicity abound, and your friends and support network don’t let you down. Communication can be unpredictable or heated at times, so count to ten, twenty, or thirty, as your impulse to overreact is lightning fast this month. Act when you feel centred, then things can turn and transform like magic.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
It’s not an easy start to the month with demands and pressures calling your attention (especially 3rd and 6th), while you’d prefer to be concentrating on other things. Home and family matters are particularly in focus, especially around the 11th when a new moon in this area of your chart indicates new beginnings and opportunities. There are challenges linked to this yet it’s all bringing out the best in you, despite it being intense or unexpected at times (9th, 17th and 20th). It’s because your faith in what’s possible is very strong right now. From the 22nd and especially full moon time on the 25th it’s about committing to fun, friendship and creativity in very practical ways.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Mars in your sign means you’re fighting for justice and feel justified fighting, and there are a few times this month that seems like make or break, or seems to be a point of no return (6th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 20th) but only you can know if it is, even if circumstances feel beyond your control. Your ruler Venus is in your income and resources chart from the 5th, which means you’re obsessed with balancing the books. It’s also about a deepening of your sense of self-worth, which is noticeable in the new beginnings emerging around or after new moon time on the 11th, and also from the 22nd when the focus moves to home and family matters.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Love planet Venus is in your sign from the 4th. Venus is interested in balance and harmony, and in your sign it’s about your relationship with yourself and how you maintain your inner balance and harmony. Certain situations seem sent to test you this month (6th, 9th, 13th and 20th), but there’s no test really; just keep focusing on feeling good in yourself rather than trying too hard to fix or control the uncontrollable. The new moon in your finance and values chart on the 11th is about new momentum/direction around income and self-worth. It’s a romantic time too (also 17th). Then events around full moon time on the 25th give you a warm and fuzzy glow.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Mars moves through your chart of career, status and reputation this month, which means strong desire to take action and move forward with plans and ambition.  There is potential for much change and transformation as a result, especially around 6th, 9th, 13th, 20th, and also around the 11th, when the annual new moon in your sign fires up your faith in the future in a big way. When confrontational Mars mixes so powerfully with other planets it indicates the potential for a volatile or unpredictable atmosphere, so keep your eye on the ball and don’t get distracted by disputes. Strangely, it’s easier than most months to make that choice.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
In the past few years you’ve been learning the art of not trying to control the uncontrollable in situations. It’s a valuable skill to master, and it looks like you’re going to have more opportunities to practice your craft this month, with a powerful planet pattern active up to the 22nd (especially 6th, 11th, and 20th), which suggests you and certain situations are moving and shaking into change and transformation. Trust your process and enjoy the renewal and replenishment that comes with letting go and moving forward. This is most likely visible during the steady and satisfying full moon on the 25th, which is all about relationships and harmony for you.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
There’s lots of focus and activity around friendship, education, and broadening horizons, as well as getting your message across to those you value. There’s also unfinished business around all this; perhaps certain situations repeat a similar cycle from the past. The key is you can adopt a different approach to last time you dealt with it. It might still feel big, intense, and unpredictable at times (approximately 6th, 9th, and 20th) but there’s also more scope for productive progress if you hold your nerve and don’t fall into disagreements. There are plenty of reasons to have faith in your hopes and dreams this month, so count them at night instead of the sheep.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Circumstances have had you looking at the long-term picture for some time now, and this month it’s still making sense to focus on plans or choices that might take time to develop or fulfil. You might have already experienced delays or blocks in this too, and maybe some closed minds or hearts. A faith-filled new moon on the 11th symbolises new beginnings in this (or perhaps a renewal), and there is a message that momentum in circumstances is carrying you forward into change and transformation. Events can feel intense or unexpected at times (6th, 9th and 20th), but more comfortable from the 22nd; especially full moon time around the 25th.

November 2015 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
First week highlights your health and fitness chart. Making sense of details is important here, and how little things can mean a lot. So true for matters of the heart too, as your ruler Mars meets love planet Venus for a romantic (yet sensible) union on the 3rd. Venus and Mars move into your relationship house on the 8th and 12th, so it’s about partnership, balance, harmony and agreements, with new reasons to find and build trust and intimacy (especially around 11th and 21st). Then you’re broadening horizons from the 22nd, especially under the potent faith-fuelled full moon on the 25th. There are no limits now, therefore no need to rush.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
It’s a fun, creative and/or romantic start to November. Friends, groups and gatherings figure highly, and the new moon on the 11th is all about new beginnings and intentions for relationships, contracts and agreements; perhaps friends, groups and creative work are linked in here too. Your ruler Venus is focusing on health and wellbeing from the 8th, which also gets you focusing on bringing things into balance. Peace and harmony might feel extra important to you now, particularly towards the final week, when a data-heavy full moon on the 25th brings lots to ponder and make sense of. Obstacles and limits can melt away, though not without a fight from you at times.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Action planet Mars and harmony planet Venus meet in your home and family chart during the first week, which might feel like a date with destiny somehow. Your ruler, communication planet Mercury, is in detective mode till the 20th, which means deep thinking or dialogue transforms problems into solutions (especially around 11th and 17th), then Mercury moves to your relationship zone from 20th, along with the sun on 22nd, joining commitment planet Saturn, so events revolve around key relationships in your life. The powerful full moon in your sign on the 25th emotionally amplifies all this, as does dreamy Neptune’s challenging meet with sensible Saturn at that time, relating to career and long-term ambition.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Early November might bring interesting or important messages and information. The new moon on the 11th is about new beginnings in the most creative zone of your chart; it’s also the most fun zone, so the strangest of situations might make you smile. There’s more focus on home and family matters from the 8th, and maybe a conflict of interests resurfaces temporarily around the 21st. There’s lots of attention on your health and healing chart, especially from 20th and 25th for solutions, smoothing out schedules and ending stalemates. Positive perspective and how you see things going really matters this month, meaning allow serendipity and synchronicity to be real for you.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
It all revolves around home and family for much of the month. The new moon pattern on the 11th shows new beginnings, renewals, or renovations underway in this area of your life; either physically or emotionally. Unexpected challenges around the 21st can be enlightening if a little intense, then from the 22nd and especially around the 25th, your attention turns more to amusement and entertainment. Even though you have your sensible head on when it comes to romance and your current creative projects, the message of the month is that limits or obstacles can turn a journey into an adventure, which is where the fun is for you. But were the limitations real or imagined?

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s big healing potential for family relationships, and in romance (3rd, 6th, 11th, 18th, 25th), including potential for sorting out the sore spots in contracts or legal agreements. Your ruler Mercury is in detective mode in your communication and information chart, which certainly helps the sorting out process; then from the 20th Mercury moves next to sensible Saturn in your home and family chart, along with the energising sun on the 22nd, for a talkative and adventurous full moon on the 25th, focusing you on long-term plans. Past restrictions or limits don’t seem to apply this month, so don’t look too carefully to see where they vanished.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Your ruler, love and harmony planet Venus, meets action planet Mars on the 3rd, which symbolises the sense of destiny to union and unity. Health and healing has your attention this month; it might be your own search for body balance, or through learning and teaching (6th, 9th and 25th). Venus and Mars move to your sign (8th and 12th) which is great for relationships (especially with yourself), then a new moon (11th) in your self-worth chart suggests new beginnings around income and purchase power. Unfinished business around the 21st might be unexpected, then until November ends there’s a huge flurry of activity around communication and information, and organised chaos works for you.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
A positive and powerful new moon in your sign on the 11th is about new beginnings, rebirths and make-overs (during this month and beyond), especially related to fun and friendship, matters of the heart, and your place in the group or team. Even though there might be reminders of old wounds or hurts at times (especially around 6th and 21st), it’s important to live and love from the wisdom gained from those past experiences, so let go of resentment and refuse to believe that injustice or imbalance prevails for long. Saturn (planet of physical reality) meets Neptune (planet of virtual reality) by the final week, so don’t invent obstacles, and do let your dreams manifest.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
November encourages long-term plans and ambition (3rd), and seeks solutions in home and family matters (6th, 11th, 25th). A deep and reflective new moon on the 11th is about accepting certain changes are inevitable; then the spotlight is firmly on you, when communication planet Mercury (from 20th), and the creative, charismatic Sun (22nd) join responsible Saturn in your sign. The full moon in your relationship chart on the 25th amplifies emotional connections with others, so don’t let doubts or fears fool you as this can be an incredibly productive and rewarding time. Saturn and Neptune connect all month (especially final week), which is about right time, right place. Stay firmly in the here and now to get there!

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Friendship and links to groups are highlighted up to mid-month, especially in the context of education or travel. Communication might be a sore spot at times, yet there’s soothing and healing as a result of it too. New moon on the 11th symbolises events that breathe new life into old hopes and dreams; perhaps updating them for who you are now. Then from the 20th the planets line up in the most spiritual part of your chart and your ruler Saturn is very much involved. It indicates that the path of least resistance is the way forward (even though you thrive on pressure and demands), particularly true for communication, siblings and/or neighbourhood during the final week.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
The pattern of planets up to around the 20th suggests it’s a month where a few solutions go a long way, solving many problems at once. The new moon on the 11th is about renewal or transformation linked to career and reputation, and/or long-term plans and ambition. Around the 21st there might be unfinished business appear regarding communication, education or travel. It’s about not trying too hard to control the uncontrollable, as it was last time it appeared. Final week is about not allowing friendships or links to groups to drain or undermine you. Or maybe better said, don’t allow your perception of them to drain or undermine you.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Sensible, structured Saturn is aligning with your ruler, the unstructured and dreamy Neptune all month (strongest around 26th). It’s challenging yet productive, as it indicates you can dissolve past limits and obstacles and manifest your dreams but you have to believe in your hopes more than your doubts. It’s certainly do-able this month though, indicated by all the planet focus on the power of your faith and perspective. By the final week, you are focused firmly on long-term goals and the satisfaction of success, and it’s at this time, under an emotionally amplified full moon on the 25th, that it’s vital to NOT give power (focus) to doubts that undermine dreams.

New Name! From Silverwheel Astrology to Bond With The Moon!

I have been writing this blog as Silverwheel Astrology since (gulp) 2005... that long, really?! And I really wanted the name change to match my (nearly finished) website, Bond With The Moon

It's the right time of year for a make-over (Scorpio season!! renewal and rebirth!), so in the near future I'm going to be changing addresses. Hopefully this blog won't disappear in the process lol. Fingers crossed!! :D

Scorpio Season is upon us - 23rd October 2015

The Sun was 11 minutes into the sign of Scorpio when I read these words by Hiro Bogo. Never seen anything that more beautifully speaks the essence of Scorpio, along with its associated rulers Mars and Pluto, and the Scorpio realm of the 8th house. Had to share :)

New Moon In Libra, October 13th 2015 - A Sudden Break For Harmony

A new moon is about new beginnings, intentions and ideas.
Relationship-focused Libra is the sign of the scales… of balance, justice, fairness…‘rightness’. The seeking of balance and harmony is so very strong with Libra energy that often people resist rocking the boat in situations; sticking with a semblance of calm or equilibrium on the surface to keep up appearances.

If that has been the case up to now, then this new moon is likely to put a spanner in the works. Exactly opposing the new moon is Uranus, the planet of unexpected, sudden shake-ups and wake-up calls.
Uranus is about revolution, independence and detachment. This planet doesn’t suffer fools gladly, and certainly won’t just for the sake of harmony. The Uranus vision is one of authentic harmony, where politeness and political correctness doesn’t get in the way of common sense, and where differences and variety are celebrated not suppressed.

So while the boat might get rocked with this new moon energy, it’s not for nothing. It’s for something; it’s for a truer sense of alignment, a real sense of change that leads to an easier harmony in the long run.

Pro-active Mars is next to faith-filled Jupiter right now, which can mean strong and confident action. In Virgo, it’s courage of conviction when dealing with the details or definition of a situation.Mars and Jupiter are in trine (easy) aspect to Pluto, the planet of letting go… whether it’s the past or of what’s no longer needed, Pluto transforms the situations it touches.

Put together this can be a deceptively deep and emotional new moon of revolution and change.. for the purpose of truer peace and harmony for the long term.

October 2015 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
The sun moves through your relationship chart till the 23rd (then it’s about trusting the process), and your ruler Mars is in problem-solving mode all month. It means that there’s a lot of focus on your connections with others and understanding how important authentic harmony is (as opposed to just not rocking the boat). Communication moves forward from the 9th, and differences or conflict with others are revolutionary around new moon time on the 13th, and productive and evolutionary around 16th/17th and from 23rd. Full moon on the 27th focuses on finance and self-worth, and all the value you’ve gained from October events.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
You’re finding your balance in so many ways this month, which means it’s ok to wobble a bit while you’re getting there; it’s ok for things to be unsettled before they settle, and it’s ok to change your mind after making your mind up. The new moon on the 13th speaks strongly of all this and more, especially about more expansion that is going on with you creatively and more focus on fun and romance (particularly around 17th and 25th). Then events around the annual full moon in your sign on the 27th seem designed to reflect a new sense of stability and security.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Your ruler Mercury ends retrograde (appearing to move backwards) from the 9th. This suggests a turning point, change of direction or change of mind, possibly as a result of the wisdom gained from recent experience with creative projects or in matters of the heart. A new moon focused on justice and fairness echoes this message on the 13th, and also speaks of unconventional or unexpected new beginnings linked to friendship, groups or gatherings. There’s also lots of activity around home and family matters all month (especially 8th, 17th and 25th), and a rare planet pattern involving the full moon on the 27th is about solutions and stability for home as well as career.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
This month there’s lots of problem-solving discussion and communication. It’s easy to get fussy or critical about the way forward, but this distracts from the real issue, so stay on topic and help others with that too. There’s a new moon on the 13th in your home and family chart, which indicates new beginnings in this area of your life. It’s also about comfort zone in general, and you seem to be pushing those boundaries, especially midmonth, in ways that might unsettle your emotional equilibrium but will bring fulfilment with time. Final week of October, especially full moon on the 27th, mixes fun and faith with lots of friendship.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
There’s strong focus on finance and resources all month, with a cluster of feel-good planets in this area of your chart. There’s Jupiter for faith and expansion, Venus for harmony and balancing the books, and Mars for passion and drive. At times circumstances might make you lose sight of how easy it is for you to tap resources and your inner resourcefulness just now (mainly at midmonth), but even then your faith and knowledge will just return with more courage and conviction. Communication, learning and travel are powerful all month, and then the full moon on the 27th brings events to a head linked to home and family matters, or career, status and reputation (perhaps both)

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Lucky Jupiter, love goddess Venus and action planet Mars are together in your sign this month. It means confidence, charm and energy, and it means being ready to move forward on what really matters to you. The new moon on the 13th indicates a new resolve to stop settling for less than what you deserve. This uncompromising attitude is exactly what’s needed as too often in the past you’ve talked yourself out of things simply because it didn’t seem logical, and you didn’t know that feeling thrilled meant it’s a ‘yes’ from the universe. But now you are ready to risk uncharted waters so the planets support you all the way.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
The annual new moon in your sign on the 13th symbolises great new beginnings this month.  Any new moon is a good time to review and reaffirm intentions, but especially when it happens in your sign. New approaches and a new appearance are on the cards in particular, and relationships are about revolution and rocking the boat. There’s an important turning point or change of mind around the 9th, and a sense of things moving forward, especially in communication from that time. Your ruler Venus is in a spiritual mood from the 8th, which means you are too, and meditation and mindfulness are so powerful for you (especially 16/17th).

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
There’s a lot of going with the flow to be done this month, as there is necessary disruption or upheaval (especially midmonth) that might make you worry things are falling apart not coming together. Don’t hammer things into place in the search for balance as it will work against you. Instead think of it as nature taking its course, and that course includes the outcome you most desire. It’s all about mind-set, so meditate or get still when you get the urge to surge forward and fix things in a hurry. A fabulous full moon in your relationship chart on the 27th speaks of the full support you have on what matters most.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
There’s a cluster of planets at the top of your chart, which suggests continuing focus and activity on long-term aims and ambition, and career and status. The month seems to build intensity to events around full moon time on the 27th and it all revolves around establishing more stability and security. Midmonth might feel the opposite of that, as there’s plenty that’s unpredictable or unexpected going on, but you’re also at your most inventive and resourceful at that time, which is a kind of security or confidence you can count on. Friendship, groups and gatherings are important at this time too, possibly as the way doors of opportunity open (especially midmonth).

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
There’s loads of focus on long-term aims and ambition for much of the month, as well as career and status. A lot of it is about finding your balance in a big learning curve you’re going through right now (perhaps literally going through, via education or training). And some of it stems from feeling unsettled or wanting to break comfort zones and routines (especially midmonth time). Also, your perfectionist side is out in force, but your sharp analysis and meticulous assessment of what and who you believe in can be very healing when softened with compassion. This is most noticeable by the final week, especially in events around full moon time on the 27th.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
It’s a very healing kind of a month, with strong focus on change, regeneration and transformation. It’s the kind of healing that comes with not trying to control the uncontrollable, and with trusting the process; it impacts all areas of your life, especially intimate relationships. The new moon on the 13th suggests revolution is in the air; you are seeing things very differently and speaking your truth very differently too, and new beginnings are coming from it all, especially linking to education or travel. As the month goes on, security and a sense of stability are becoming more interesting to you as far as career and comfort zone goes. You don’t want one without the other.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March

A lot of things might be stirred up or seem unsettled at times this month (especially midmonth), but not only is this necessary in making the right moves for change to happen, it’s also beneficial for healing some existing situations in the long-term. There’s also a big focus on key relationships this month, including business partnerships, and any legal contracts and agreements; where events seem to bringing out your most logical, meticulous and perfectionist side. The full moon on the 27th has a theme of security and stability and how a lot of it depends not trying too hard to control the uncontrollable.

Apparently, there's going to be this big announcement from NASA about Mars tomorrow (28th Sep). It's the blood moon eclipse tonight, in the sign of Aries, which is the sign that planet Mars rules.
Eclipses are about significant events with long-term impact, so it's likely to be an interesting announcement...

September 2015 Horoscopes

It's eclipse season! See what that means for you with September horoscopes...

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Important changes are indicated by the lunar eclipse in your sign on the 28th. Eclipses deepen impact of situations and circumstances, so what happens this month is likely to stay relevant for some time. First week has plenty of fire and sparkle in romance and creativity. Second week, especially around eclipse time on the 13th, is about going with your flow despite changes you can’t control. Then it’s the build-up to the eclipse in your sign when your relationship with just about everything and everyone is under the spotlight. This is the time to insist on interpreting events positively, as there’s power in how you see yourself in situations.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
First week there’s a sweet harmony in home and family matters, and a sense of things moving forward in this area of your life in a way they haven’t for some time; indicated by the end of Venus retrograde on the 6th. Two eclipses this month (13th and 28th) suggest either your direction in certain situations is becoming firmly fixed or the next steps are becoming much more obvious. Midmonth eclipse focuses on matters of the heart and your involvement with groups and gatherings; there are new commitments from the 18th, and then it’s all about priorities. Events around eclipse time on the 28th suggest you make yourself number one.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
This month planet Saturn moves into your relationship zone for the next two years. Saturn is about commitment and responsibility, as well as any pressure and stress that comes with that. Mercury is retrograde from the 17th, which can mean a change of mind (or two, or three) from you or others. Also, there are two eclipses (13th and 28th), which are about events having long-term significance and relevance. Midmonth eclipse is about a more concentrated focus on home and family matters, and if you’ve been feeling blocked creatively, or feel you’ve been missing all the fun, then the eclipse on the 28th is about events that bring that more into balance.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
There are two eclipses this month, 13th and 28th. Eclipse time is always a significant time for you Cancer, because you’re so emotionally tuned to the ebb and flow of the moon cycle. Eclipses focus energy intensely, so you’re doing the same: around midmonth the intensity is toward communication, learning, and travel. Then around the 28th it’s toward long-term aims regarding home and family matters. It’s also about finding the balance in opposites; for example in work versus personal life, or career versus comfort zone, etc. September is also fab for starting long-term health and fitness goals, and for enjoying the fruits of a renewed disciplined and methodical approach to daily routine.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Wow, it’s a romantic start to September with a sizzling hot Mars and Venus union in your sign, and Neptune in a dreamy, unbound kind of mood all month. There’s also a really important turning point in key relationships. It has been a summer where you’ve been the heart and soul of so many events and circumstances and things might feel quieter during September, but you need it to properly process what’s happened and, integrate all you’ve learnt.  There are two eclipses (13th and 28th), which tend to be about new cycles of events. The first eclipse concerns finances and the second is communication, education and travel; so notice what’s new or is calling for your positive approach around that time.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Expect a busy month physically and mentally, and make time to de-stress and unwind. It seems most eventful midmonth, around solar eclipse time in your sign (13th), and 17th/18th, so it’s really important to keep clearing your mind of negative or pessimistic thinking. It’s important all September actually, because there’s so much you can achieve this month. The planets speak of no limits, of potential unbound; so dreams become reality if you’re selective in your mind-set and deliberately choose to keep focusing optimistically. Otherwise the mind fog will set in and you won’t see or sense clearly the beautiful path ahead. And it is as beautiful as you can imagine.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Your ruler Venus moves forward from the 6th, for the first time since July. There have been reunions, reconnections and reviewing of relationships in that time, especially in friendships and links to groups or gatherings. You’ve also spent time revisiting certain hopes and dreams. So now it’s all about moving forward with all this. The eclipse on the 13th is about your spiritual side, and how YOU are the light at the end of the tunnel. The sun moving through your sign from the 23rd enlightens and awakens you further to this, ready for an important lunar eclipse on the 28th, where the theme is about keeping a balance without losing what’s important to you.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Limits lift and priorities shift during September. There are changes of direction, of mind, and of approach in lots of ways, and yet it feels less chaotic and more like a lot of things clicking satisfyingly into place. At the top of the astro happenings list this month are two eclipses (13th and 28th). Eclipses set the tone or trend for weeks or months to come, so September events, particularly around those dates, are likely to reveal long-term significance. First eclipse focuses on friendship, fun, and matters of the heart. Second eclipse has a theme of finding the balance between micro-managing and going with the flow, especially regarding health and fitness, daily schedules and appointments.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Saturn, the planet that gets more bad press than a Mercury Retrograde, returns to your sign on the 17th for the next two years. Saturn is linked to limitation, restriction, and delay, but it’s also linked to responsibility, being the boss, and all the benefits that come with that. As Saturn is in your sign, the next two years are about being the boss of your own life and reaping the benefits of that, which means taking responsibility, owning your stuff, and not giving away power or control (meaning don’t blame anyone, including you). The eclipses this month (13th and 28th) symbolise important new cycles of experience that support and focus you there.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Your ruler Saturn moves to a new area of your chart for the next two years (17th). It symbolises firm foundations and building new structures, whether it’s literal, or via a new mind-set or attitude. Unconditional love is a theme, which means never mind what others expect from you (conditional love), and never mind what limits or boundaries are in current conditions, it’s all about feeling good about yourself and your future plans regardless. When practised consistently, this approach opens up your path ahead in seemingly magical ways, dissolving obstacles effortlessly. Practice makes perfect, which is the message of September’s two eclipses (13th and 28th).

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Love, relationships and matters of the heart have the potential to put a huge smile on your face this month, especially during the first week, with a fabulous union between Venus and Mars. Relationships, contracts and agreements reach an important turning point, and can move forward in ways they haven’t up to now. There are two big eclipses (13th and 28th) that symbolise new paths and new directions. Eclipse energy can feel uncomfortably intense if you’re going against that new flow, rather than with it, so if events feel like wading through treacle or walking into the wind, it’s time to stop and take stock, and get plugged back into yourself in whatever way works for you.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
There are two important eclipses this month (13th and 28th); the first in your relationship chart so your sense of balance, harmony and agreement with others is under the spotlight. It’s also about contracts, settlements or deals, whether new or up for review, and a strong message this month is never ever sign anything while feeling vague or unclear; get clear or wait. The second eclipse also has a theme of balance, but this one focuses on your finances, and shared resources with others. Getting priorities in order while maintaining productive connections with others is what it’s all about. Both eclipses echo themes, so events are likely to blend and overlap and connect too.

Full Moon In Pisces, August 29th 2015

Moon message = "Help is at Hand".

The moon in Pisces melts our hearts, increases compassion, dissolves boundaries, teaches us about unconditional love, and opens our spiritual and psychic senses. We have an enhanced appreciation for art and music, and our own creativity flows. We weep at the beauty of a sunset or the innocence of a child, or we just weep for connection.

A full moon in Pisces intensifies all this, as a full moon concentrates and focuses energy. This moon also has Neptune nearby, which intensifies things further, because Neptune (God of the ocean) is Pisces watery ruler.

A full moon happens when the sun and moon stand opposite each other in the zodiac. The sun recently moved into the sign of Virgo, the polarity to Pisces. Virgo seems to be so different to Pisces in many ways, Virgo is earthy, analytical, and seeks a world that runs like clockwork – precise, perfect, predictable.

But these two signs have more in common than first appears, and this is what a full moon is about, bringing balance and blending of both. Virgo and Pisces are both strongly associated with healing. They are also about the pull to serve humanity… in service for charitable or altruistic (unconditional) reasons.

The sun in Virgo sits right next to Jupiter for this full moon. Jupiter is the planet of faith and positivity. Jupiter expands what it touches, and in Virgo it is in practical, down to earth ways.
I feel this is a full moon where problems can meet with solutions, in ways not seen before, no matter how overwhelming the problem seems. It’s a full moon with the message that help is at hand, and with Virgo practicality blending so intensely with Pisces compassion, it’s a safe pair of hands with workable solutions.

So expect solutions, answers and healing connections. Expect art, music and creativity to satisfy the senses and soothe the soul in meaningful ways. Expect that truth is beauty and beauty is truth. Expect Love to heal, not hurt. Expect to experience the softening and dissolving of limits and obstacles. Expect that kindness and compassion prevails. And surrender to these expectations; as surrender is the Pisces way.

(This full moon is 6 degrees of Pisces, and is full at 19.35, UK time)

August 2015 Horoscopes

Here are my Horoscopes for you all, for the month of August. Hope you enjoy. Don't forget I have both astrology readings and various tarot/oracle readings available. I can tailor a reading to suit the kind of questions you have too. Get in touch via this blog, or through my Etsy shop or facebook page, at BOND WITH THE MOON :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
You’ve been in pursuit of creative and artistic recognition for some time now. This month your ruler Mars joins this path (9th), which gets things moving, especially around new moon time (14th). Love and relationship planet Venus is reconnecting you with the past, and maybe opportunities you thought lost (4th, 6th, especially 19th). Big news is expansion planet Jupiter moves into your health and fitness chart for the next year (11th). Jupiter symbolises positive, uplifting and ‘lucky’ experiences, which means getting healthy and staying healthy has never felt so good. Jupiter is also touching your work and daily routines, so problem-solving and stream-lining your life is empowering (especially around 29th).

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Venus is retrograde till September, which suggests reconnection with faces/places from the past is a theme in matters of love and/or money, and it’s also about not trying too hard to push stuck situations forward. Home and family matters are very much in focus till 23rd and there’s much to feel proud and happy about (especially 4th and 14th). Maybe there’s relocation or reunion too. From the 11th positive planet Jupiter moves into your fun and creativity chart for the next year, so prepare for adventures and interesting new ventures in months to come (note how friendship, groups and gatherings are important in this around 29th).

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
There might be more pressure or stress up to midmonth, but the planets are in such a confident and upbeat mood in your communication and information chart it’s going to be a lot easier to keep smiling while sorting things out, especially as the rewards and satisfaction are high. There’s plenty of good news to enjoy this month, some of which might be about reconnecting with the past, as history seems to be repeating itself somehow (4th, 14th, 19th). Also, Jupiter, the planet of opportunity and good fortune is moving into your home and family chart for a whole year from the 11th, which means your personal space and comfort zone is a positive place indeed.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
It’s all happening in your income and resources chart. There are planets in there oozing confidence and positive expectation, and you can’t help but feel upbeat and buoyant whatever the circumstance. Remember that the better you feel, the more reasons the universe gives you to feel better, so don’t rain on your parade with doubts or take action from fear of missing out; wait to move when it feels right inside. Jupiter is in your chart of communication and learning from the 11th for the next year, indicating growth and adventure. For example, you feel compelled to understand something more clearly around the 29th, so apply more intuition and less logic.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
For the past year Jupiter has been in your sign. If you look back over that time you can see in what ways positive growth, opportunity and self-confidence have touched you personally. Jupiter leaves your sign on the 11th which means it’s time to start building on the good stuff that opened up for you in previous months. The annual new moon in your sign on the 14th speaks of new beginnings, and Mars moves into your sign from the 9th, suggesting you’re more active and motivated than ever. Also, planet Venus (love and justice) is reconnecting you to the past all month, and with grand gestures around 4th and 19th.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Big news this month as Jupiter (the planet associated with growth, opportunities and good fortune) moves into your sign for a whole year. Last time was 12 years ago, so think back to then and remember what happened that expanded your life in significant ways. Jupiter opens doors but you have to step through them, so it’s a year to keep the faith and your sense of adventure. Your ruler planet, logical Mercury, is in your sign from the 7th, along with the energising sun (23rd), which indicates fresh clarity and new directions. There are still challenges (especially around full moon on 29th), but hold your nerve and your focus and watch how positivity prevails.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
You’ve been quite a journey recently. This is especially true regarding your friendships, support network and your involvement with groups, where lots of things relate or point to the past somehow, and you’re reconnecting and returning to people, places, hopes, wishes and dreams that you might have thought long gone or long forgotten. This big reunion continues during August, so enjoy (especially around 4th 14th and 19th). Don’t let self-doubt get the better of you during the first week, and do cut yourself some slack during final week, when you’re torn between relying on logic or taking things on faith (both are right and neither are wrong).

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
For the past year Jupiter in your ambition and status chart has brought opportunities to develop long-term plans and take more steps up the ladder of success. A brilliant new moon here on the 14th symbolises new beginnings related to this, while Mars indicates strong momentum and motivation from the 9th. Your relationship ruler is also in this mix, indicating important reconnections or reunions (around 4th and 19th especially). For the next year Jupiter moves into your friendship, groups and gatherings chart from the 11th, indicating opportunities and open doors in this area of your life. It’s also about faith and belief in your hopes and dreams, meaning pessimism holds no power here.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Big news Sagittarius: from 11th your ruling planet Jupiter (expansion and opportunity) moves into your long-term success chart for a whole year. Last time was 12 years ago, so things have come full circle, and you’re ready to start again. The new moon on the 14th indicates you’re already dreaming of new adventures and experiences though the journey might be slow or clunky getting going. It’s self-doubt, or questioning your worthiness or what’s possible that makes it slow and clunky, so it’s important to remember that Jupiter doesn’t make empty promises of what can be achieved.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
There’s a turning point early in August, where things start to move forward after delays or bad timing. You still have a lot to take on faith, which is never easy for a feet-firmly-on-the-ground Capricorn, but do your best as it will pay off. Jupiter, planet of faith hope and clarity, moves into the most adventurous part of your chart from the 11th, for the next year. It indicates opportunities for expansion through travel, education, or anything that broadens your horizons and makes you feel part of something big and perfect. You are reaching for balance in all this during full moon time on the 29th, just don’t stop believing.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
For the past year Jupiter (expansion and opportunity) has been in your relationship chart, indicating positive developments in love and/or business, along with contracts and agreements that brought growth and confidence. Other planets now in this part of your chart are supporting this, making all relationships a major focus of your attention for August. Jupiter moves into your chart of healing, transformation and the unknown from the 11th, for the next year; indicating positivity and growth in the realm of trust, intimacy and sharing resources. A full moon on the 29th ‘emotionalises’ all this, meaning feelings run high regarding doubts, fears and uncertainty, but it’s just about finding the courage of your convictions.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Lots of planets in your health and fitness chart means lots of focus and attention on this area of your life this month, especially 4th, 14th and 19th. For some time Jupiter at odds with Saturn suggested situations have not developed or expanded as you’d like, but limits can lift during August, especially from 11th when Jupiter moves into your relationship chart for the next year, indicating faith rewarded and doors opening via contracts and agreements with others. There’s a potent full moon in your sign on the 29th; suggesting fulfilment or completion in certain situations. It also indicates a need to blend logic and intuition, as one rarely makes sense without the other.

Spacecraft Drives by Pluto, while Pluto opposes Mars, July 2015

On January 19th 2006 a spacecraft began travelling to Pluto for the first time, to take a closer look at it for us. On July 14th 2015 that spacecraft reaches its closest contact with the planet. Read all about the details and background here.

And unsurprisingly to astrologers, Pluto is at the centre of the astrological action this week, with Mars and Pluto meeting for an opposition aspect the day after this historic mission completes (opposition means they are in opposite zodiac signs, Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn).

Whenever Pluto is a highlight of the astrological skies it means that ‘trust versus control’ is a big theme. This is expressing perfectly in the Pluto spacecraft journey itself, as the spacecraft is going to be left to its own devices for a good few hours while it photographs the surface of Pluto; it can’t photograph and communicate with earth at the same time so those at mission control are going to have to cross their fingers or sit on their hands while the main event happens out of their sight, out of their reach, out of their control.

This is kind of what the week is about for all of us...the comfort zone of control and the discomfort zone of feeling out of control.... what do we do, and how do we respond when feeling 'out of control'? Trust the process, says Pluto in Capricorn...

July 2015 Horoscopes

Here are this month's horoscopes (better late than never!) hope you enjoy. (btw, my scopes are printed in the Crack Magazine, which is a magazine devoted to what's happening in my beloved North East of England, you can find it online here). Happy July to you :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Early July it feels so easy to be inspired to the right direction and just go with the flow, but then it might feel you’re losing your magic touch, especially midmonth, and during a nostalgic new moon in your home and family chart on the 16th. That’s the time a particularly stubborn planet pattern symbolises a struggle to push situations into place, but stop trying to control the uncontrollable and things get more comfortable. Certain relationships, partnerships, contracts or agreements experience an important change of direction from the 25th (which is part of what you’d been pushing for all along). It’s ongoing so watch this space.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Events of early July and midmonth seem very connected, like a natural progression from events around full moon time on the 2nd and what happens around new moon time around the16th. Communication, information, education, local community, or travel are important to this somehow, with a theme of delayed action or plans; maybe you feel on the brink of something and the wait is excruciating, or perhaps you or someone close is bottling something up. Trust that the timing is perfect on it all though, because it is. Around the 18th and 25th is a highly significant time for you, when you change direction on all this, maybe an indication the wait is over.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
The blue moon on the 31st suggests this is a rare kind of month. It has ups and downs (or more accurately stated, expansions and contractions), but for sure the ups make the downs worthwhile as there’s real fulfillment happening; nothing trivial here. The full moon on the 2nd is a peak of ease and flow in finance and resources, as well as career. The new moon on the 16th repeats this theme, yet also suggests a learning curve too, with an extended, and at times frustrating struggle to get things that matter sorted. The mood lifts from the 23rd with interesting information, connections and reconnections in store.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
It’s all about relationships for much of the month. Whether romantic, family, business, etc., there’s so much regarding harmony, agreements and contracts. It’s intense at times (especially 14th – 17th), with conflict and disagreement on the way to what you and others seek together, but the planets suggest you have this amazing ability to find exactly the right perspective or view to heal rifts and soothe troubled waters. Notice this during the first week, and particularly during the annual new moon in your sign on the 16th. A blue moon on the 31st suggests unknown territory is calling you in a rare way, and trust, intimacy and shared resources hold greater significance.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
July is unusual and sometimes puzzling. There’s a sparkling connection between Venus and Jupiter in your sign during week one, indicating a lucky break or opportunity arising. Yet at the same time (and especially midmonth) you seek quiet time, and situations might feel static and certain folk frustrating. Go with the flow and trust this turn of events however, and it will help rather than hinder you long-term. Things make far more sense after the energising sun and intelligent planet Mercury move into your sign from the 23rd, symbolising fresh clarity and focus, then a blue moon in your relationship chart on the 31st indicates rare and exceptional happenings ahead.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Friendships and links to groups and gatherings of like-minded folk are important for July, as there’s something to be said for those who share or support your supposedly impossible dream (Nothing’s impossible, but it might feel that way at midmonth, when certain situations seem intensely unyielding for no apparent reason). Planet Venus enters your sign on the 18th, and retrogrades (appears to move backwards) from the 25th, which means that till early September you’re revaluating relationships, especially your relationship with yourself, while love, harmony, income and self-worth become extra-important themes in situations. Prepare for reconnections and reunions, too.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
The final week of July has significance for Libra, as your ruling planet Venus begins a retrograde phase (where it appears to move backwards) until early September. It indicates an important period of re-evaluating certain relationships, especially friendships and/or your involvement with groups and gatherings. It also indicates reunions and reconnections. All this begins with a turning point or change of direction from you in some way, around the 25th. It might feel that the month’s events are building towards this date, and there’s some challenging (yet constructive) dynamics around all month, especially first week and 14th-16th. There are also very sweet times too, such as 2nd and 21st

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Communication, education, travel and new perspectives are very much in focus this month and can be important sources of fun, entertainment and creativity, especially at full moon time on the 2nd. As the month continues, and most intensely between 14th and 17th, challenges also come into focus linked to these themes and also involving career or ambition, and it can really push your buttons. But if certain circumstances seem impossible to change at that time, then it’s important to choose a view on it that makes you feel good, regardless of what’s happening. A blue moon on the 31st lightens pressures and moods, personally and professionally.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
The planets are very busy during July. A lot is going on in your life; even when it feels that’s not the case (midmonth), because things feel static, stuck or a struggle, there’s huge value in the emotional process. It’s a learning curve, and you will the reap benefits of experience in future. July opens with a good-feeling full moon on the 2nd, focusing on self-worth and shared resources, and what unfolds in the days that follow links to that. Issues involving unfamiliar territory, trust, healing, change and transformation all arise. There’s also a blue moon on the 31st, and yes it means things that rarely happen are happening.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
The planets are packed into your relationship chart during July. This means lots of your energy and attention is directed towards situations involving partnerships (romance, business, family, etc), also contracts and agreements. It’s all about seeking harmony and balance with others while making sure no-one (including you) has to compromise on what’s important to them. Early July is easiest and midmonth most challenging in this (14th – 17th), and the new moon on the 16th suggests solutions (and new partnerships) come via good communication. Also, certain plans that might have been on hold till the 18th again might take a different turn around the 25th. Reunions are in store too.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Towards the end of July (from 23rd) might feel lightest or brightest, but don’t write off the rest of the month. There’s huge focus on daily routines, such as work schedule, stream-lining your day, problem-solving, etc. This also includes health and fitness too. It might sound dull or boring but get this sorted and there’s less clutter and obstacles to bump into, emotionally or physically. Also, certain situations are just intense this month, no matter how much you try to make them otherwise (especially midmonth), while other situations seem to be heading one way and end up another; for the time being at least (from the 18th).

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
There’s much happening to keep you amused this month. The planets point to plenty of fun and good times, with a few wishes granted along the way; especially during the easy flowing full moon energy on the 2nd, when the vibe is high, and a sense of abundance surrounds you. But don’t be disheartened by the dip that follows (especially midmonth). Nothing’s gone wrong, you’re just busy working through certain situations and it takes time (not forever). Also, Venus (love and money) moves into your relationship chart from the 18th, and retrogrades (appears to move backwards) from the 25th. It means the past becomes important for now, with reunions, re-connections, etc.

June 2015 Horoscopes

June 2015 is a very beautiful month in astrology, enjoy :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Prosperity planet Jupiter meets unconventional planet Uranus this month. This has special significance for Aries, indicating brilliant opportunities that come out of the blue, or in ways you weren’t expecting. This lasts all month but is especially dynamic on 2nd, 8th, 22nd and 26th. These are times when creative power shines bright and brilliant, and matters of the heart really matter (especially 26th!) while fun feels fabulous. This is also an amazing month for communication: first half of June you’re catching up and reconnecting, then the lively new moon on the 16th suggests it’s all about new contacts and connections, new discussions and new information.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
The full moon on the 2nd focuses on faith, hope and promises, especially relating to finance and resources, and after the 11th you might notice a turning point that moves certain situations along nicely (maybe communication sorts things out). Midmonth into the third week of June sees you making some strong choices that feel right, regarding new beginnings and unusual opportunities. Partnership and romance is important this month (2nd, 7th, 14th, 16th), while home and family matters are highlighted from the 5th and 16th; and in a very significant way around 25th/26th when events are extra special indeed.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
It’s your time of year Gemini, and definitely your kind of month, starting with a partnership-themed full moon on the 2nd that gets you thinking and talking about what you want from your most valued relationships, and also important contracts and agreements. The 7th and 8th are about positive action and motivation, then after midmonth you’re ready for a change of direction in some way. There’s plenty of time for friends and fun all month, particularly around the 16th during the annual new moon in your sign. A new moon means new beginnings and there are first steps and doors opening for you, especially around 26th when events positively sparkle with opportunity.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
With such a lot you can’t directly control as June gets underway, it’s a case of ‘go with the flow’, and it’s highly likely it all works out in your favour, even without pushing or forcing the issue (especially around 16th). Then on the 21st the creative and empowering sun moves into your sign, followed by action planet Mars on the 24th, which means you’re much more energised and motivated and the time feels right to make moves. There’s an outstandingly positive aspect between lucky Jupiter and unconventional Uranus active all month which is a superb sign of unexpected opportunity and expansion linked to work and finance (especially 26th)

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Friendship, fun, and your involvement with groups and gatherings have your attention this month, right from the first week when there’s a bit of constructive or creative tension, which shows it’s possible to get a positive from a negative. And talking of positive, there’s an exceptionally promising planet aspect all month that suggests unexpected expansion coming your way in all shapes and forms. It’s as if you are carrying good luck with you this month so make the most of your magic from the 5th and around the 22nd, but especially around the 26th, when your sparkle, charisma and confidence is simply irresistible.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Your focus for much of the month is long-term plans, aims and ambitions. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde (appearing to move backwards) till the 11th, so you’re maybe stuck at the same rung on the ladder of success till then, or perhaps you need to reconnect with the past before you can move forward with plans. Whatever, after midmonth there’s a turnaround, and a new moon on the 16th symbolises strong desire for action, and how you’re ready and willing to reach (step by step) for what you want. You have good support for this, and luck is definitely on your side all month, especially during the final week.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
June has the potential to be an exceptionally positive month, so don’t be fooled by people or events claiming otherwise (perhaps 2nd and 12th); in fact it’s prudent to tune out people or events who are not on the positive wavelength if you can, and this will help you make the most of the very real prosperity and expansion available now. So switch off the news, laugh at the sceptics and doubters and just take an umbrella in case of rain on your parade. Then your faith in the bright side of the road will be restored and rewarded in all kinds of ways; some quite unexpected but still very welcome (particularly around 22nd and 26th!).

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Since 2012 you’ve experienced more limits and boundaries on your time or your physical self, as well as a stronger sense of commitment to certain areas of your life. Sometimes this felt like more stress and pressure, more duty and obligation, and a more serious outlook from you, but on the whole it’s been positive and productive. From mid-June to mid-September this is all in focus again, maybe from unfinished business or loose ends to tie up. Meanwhile the pressure eases on finances and resources and there’s strong, sound opportunities to make the most of all month. Love and romance is also special, and extra-special during the final week.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Your ruler, the lucky Jupiter, is in aspect to unconventional Uranus all month (strongest around 22nd), indicating fabulous, freeing, unexpected and unique opportunities for expansion, prosperity and success, particularly via travel, education, creativity and romance. The once-a-year full moon in your sign on the 2nd is about sorting your priorities; then limits and delays lift after midmonth, especially regarding partnership, contracts and agreements. A relationship themed new moon on the 16th is about new beginnings, with powerful hints of a positive future to put your faith in, and around the 26th it’s an exceptional time for your kind of magic and miracles.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
You’re kept pretty busy this month reorganising and rearranging your schedule, desk, or plans. It’s a more streamlined experience that you’re after, which most likely clicks into place after midmonth. There’s also focus on friendship and group involvement, with reconnection or restructuring happening and it’s a great month for sorting health and fitness, with a turning point or change of direction from the 11th and a new moon indicating new beginnings from around the 16th. There is real positivity around home and family matters, and shared finances all month but especially about the 22nd and 26th, when there’s a wonderfully abundant wave of unexpected opportunity and positive progress.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
You’ll find strong support for your adventure and journey into the creative process this month, so focus on the fun and enjoyment of putting your heart and soul into a project or experience and see where it takes you. It’s also an exceptionally positive and promising month for relationships, contracts and agreements, where it’s the right time for talks, discussions and documents to move (maybe after a stalemate or delay) and to get things moving forward and expanding your horizons. Stand out dates are 6th, 8th, 16th (new moon time), 22nd and especially around the 26th.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Around the 2nd you might be feeling at odds with yourself as a rather full on full moon spotlights confusing or unbalanced situations. There’s method to the madness though, as it leads to the clearing and harmonising of it all. The full impact might only be recognised in months to come, but don’t underestimate the power of your progress right now. It’s a month for home and family, and for nurturing your nearest and dearest emotional attachments, and the planets suggest it’s one of the most positive months there’s been in a long time; finances, work and health are all full of excellent and unexpected opportunities, especially during the final week.

May 2015 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Communication, information and learning can be bumpy or awkward at times (around 3rd and 15th) and it’s easy to get the wrong end of the stick (9th, 19th and final week), so check facts before acting and don’t be discouraged. Your ruler Mars moves into your communication zone from the 12th and Mercury retrogrades (appears to move backwards) from the 19th, so there’s plenty of activity, debate and discussion which might make you revise plans or review your priorities (especially 27th). You’re also very focused on finance and resources, especially during the emotional full moon (4th) and the business-like new moon (18th), when security matters most.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
The sun is in your sign till the 21st, so it’s your time of year with the world on your wavelength when it comes to what you want. The full moon in your relationship chart on the 4th is about moving on from the past and adjusting to unfamiliar territory; then Mercury turns retrograde (appearing to move backwards) in your income and resources chart from the 19th, suggesting a change of direction after a review of priorities. Tricky planet patterns here suggest muddles or misunderstandings with money (double-check small print midmonth and final week). But the new moon in your sign on the 18th is about a new era of stability and security when you stand your ground.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
It’s a busy month, with your ruler Mercury in your sign from the 1st and retrograde from the 19th, which can stir up dormant situations or reconnect you to faces and places from the past. Action-planet Mars also in your sign from the 12th means certain communication and information is calling you to take action (especially midmonth and 27th). The Sun in your sign from the 21st strengthens creativity and encourages you into the spotlight, but there’s also a few times when it’s easy to lose faith and clarity in yourself or others (9th, 15th, 23rd, 29th, 31st), so let the inherent magic and mystery of the month make a believer out of you all over again (16th, 18th, 27th and 30th).

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Friendship is the focus for much of the month, both as a sense of stability and security, and also as the centre of any activity or drama. Creative projects, fun, entertainment and your links to groups and gatherings are connected to all this, particularly during the emotionally deep full moon on the 4th, which can move mountains and open even tightly closed hearts. Note that this is not the month for idle gossip or negative talk, as there’s huge focus on kind communications and connections, especially midmonth and final week, when it’s prudent to dodge empty words or promises. Around 16th into the earthy new moon on the 18th is a special time; for friends as well as lovers.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
You might feel quiet or more reflective at full moon time on the 4th; maybe seeking some quality time with yourself, to reconnect and replenish your inner reserves. There are sweet dreams around the 7th, 16th and 22nd, and sweet friendships from the 12th onwards. There’s a lot of focus on your professional life and long-term ambitions this month with new life being breathed into career and status around new moon time on the 18th, as well as groups, gatherings, teamwork, and friends. Mercury is retrograde from the 19th (appearing to move backwards), which means faces and places pop up from the past (especially 27th), and certain communication and information is relevant again. It’s all good, and healing.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
You’re serene and philosophical under the earthy and emotional full moon on the 4th. It would be great to bottle that experience and bring it out for the times when pressures feel heaviest (mainly midmonth). But next best thing is use your imagination. This means only think about things that make you feel good. Don’t clutter your mind with doubts or settle for second-best day dreams, as with so much activity in your aims and ambition chart from the 12th it pays to keep faith in the best outcome. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde from the 19th, so it’s places and faces from the past that matter most.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
The theme for May is security and stability. The full moon on the 4th in your income and resources chart indicates there are some issues it’s best to acknowledge and accept, and some best to turn away from, but only you can decide which is which. You’re in protective and nurturing mode from the 7th, then around the 16th into the earthy and grounding new moon on the 18th you’re in full flow, following your heart and letting your light shine bright. Travel and education is increasingly in focus from midmonth. It’s all about perspectives, old and new; some worth fighting for, some not (you choose which).

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
You’re not in the mood to settle for anything shallow or skin deep this month, especially not in the first week with a deep and powerful full moon in your sign on the 4th. It’s the truth of a person or situation you’re after, as you prefer the inner sense of stability and security that the truth brings you to. Midmonth, and especially around 16th and 18th (during a new moon focusing on new relationships and contracts), there’s a sense of balance, harmony and oneness to discover; and increasingly (from the 12th and 19th) there’s action and movement around communication and information and you return to unfinished business.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
May is a time of deep healing and renewal as you now have the energy for what it entails, meaning you’re breathing new life into plans and projects, and there’s important rebuilding or restructuring happening. This might not always seem so significant as it can be as simple as revamping or redecorating, but it’s the motivation behind it that matters. Relationships are also included in all this, especially from the 19th (as Mercury retrogrades) when a change of direction, or approach, get things moving and developing in a different way to before. It’s not the most wonderful time to sign new contracts or agreements though, so use your gut instinct.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
There’s the potential for lots of good times this month, with a full moon in your friendship and fun chart on the 4th, and the sun in your entertainment chart till the 21st. There might be existing situations that feel out of your direct control, or maybe you just don’t know the best way forward yet, which makes for helpless or hopeless feelings, but there are signs that midmonth you might be receiving what you need for the situation to feel more balanced. Relationship and harmony-seeking Venus is moving through your partnership chart from the 7th which makes for extra cosy and caring connections all month.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
May offers plenty of opportunities for progress and development, even though the deep feeling full moon on the 4th might coincide with events that really push your buttons; if button-pushing brings situations to a head that were overdue your attention, then it’s an opportunity that serves you. If you’ve already been waiting for a certain outcome then perhaps when Mercury retrogrades from the 19th, you might be getting the kind of results you’ve been looking for, and also at that time (18th) there’s a stable and secure new moon in your home and family chart that speaks of new beginnings and firm foundations.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
You’re keeping it real when it comes to communication this month, especially during the first week and full moon on the 4th, when you are highly motivated to get to the truth and heart of a situation in the best way you can. Midmonth is soft and romantic, but maybe cut others some slack from the 19th, as a change of mind or direction might be as much of a mystery to them as it is to you. Keep home and family relationships as clear as possible after midmonth too, meaning don’t let misunderstandings become more than they need to, and give the benefit of the doubt instead. It’s all worth your effort this month.

April 2015 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
A lunar eclipse on the 4th and a new moon on the 18th both focus on relationships, aims and ambitions, and most of all…you! It’s clear you’re still asking a lot from yourself (which is to ‘be the change you want to see’), so just keep getting out of your own way to find your own way forward. You have support from generous Jupiter this month, which means fresh opportunities and figures of faith and freedom arrive to help you out (especially on or after the 8th). Security and stability are important to you now, and notice how you’re motivated to act on this around the 23rd.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
April is about movement, whether it’s the seeds for future growth (keep faith in the vision) or new signs of progress from the past efforts, it’s all symbolised by a ‘go with the flow’ full moon eclipse on the 4th, and by balance-seeking planet Venus moving into your security and resources chart from the 11th. The sun is your sign from the 20th, indicating creative vibes, fun and entertainment, the spotlight, and long overdue updates and make-overs. Communication planet Mercury in your sign from the 14th; and Mars in your sign all month indicates increased stamina and determination. Notice what unfolds from this (especially linked to communication) around the 23rd.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
A powerful full moon eclipse on the 4th impacts matters of the heart, creativity, friendship, fun and entertainment. It indicates a hunger for harmony, balance, and justice in these areas and it’s all intensified when relationship planet Venus moves in your sign from the 11th. There’s a turnaround or change of direction in romance and/or important communications from the 8th and midmonth don’t isolate or hide yourself away from pressures or pains; you have allies and supporters who are on your side so let them in. The final week is busy and eventful and you have strong purpose and motivation, especially around the 23rd and 26th.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Events around a restless lunar eclipse on the 4th focus on the radical change you’re craving in career or status (the new moon on the 18th is about a new beginning there), as well as the emotional intensity and intimacy you’re seeking in relationships, and the harmony and balance you’re hungry for in home or family matters. In other words, it’s a mover and shaker of a month, with ups and downs but also with satisfying progress and developments (in security and resources for example, thanks to a significant turning point or move forward from the 8th). Also, good friendship and group connections are highlighted all month, especially 11th, 20th and 23rd.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
It’s a full on kind of first week in April; there’s a powerful lunar (emotional) eclipse on the 4th that magnifies your need for answers right now. Keep talking because the answers are there. Harmony and balance in communication gets you the harmony and balance of answers you seek. This is most challenging in some ways by the 8th or 10th, but there’s also a lot of positive support at that time, and a forward-looking change in direction. Travel, education and new perspectives also have your attention (around the 18th especially), then from the 20th your focus is career, status and reputation (23rd looks very interesting for that).

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s a lunar eclipse on the 4th, in the resources section of your chart. It means you might be seeking who and what you can rely on and count on, and giving more thought to what really matters to you and what you value. Give and take, and balance and equality are key components to situations this month; as is choosing and sorting priorities (emphasised around the 18th). After midmonth and especially from the 20th, you realise how perspective is everything, yet also how flexible and subjective it is. Particularly around the 23rd when you feel the relevance of the idea that from small acorns huge oak trees grow.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Events around the lunar eclipse in your sign on the 4th makes you question if it’s asking too much to seek harmony and balance in so many circumstances right now. (No, it’s not asking too much). The key is your own inner peace about it all, meaning you must make peace with the way things stand, before things can change. That’s challenging, as you are often physically jolted by an incongruent or disordered environment, but you also understand that works of art are created from a messy process. The new moon on the 18th is about new priorities, so top of the agenda for April is to ‘let it be (for just now)’.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
An important lunar eclipse on the 4th carries an important message that this month is all about things being set to rights, put back in balance, and brought back into harmony. How this is achieved focuses around choices; meaning who or what you choose to align with, believe in, or buy into. Understanding your own priorities and values makes these choices easier, and this has your attention up to the 20th. After that, partnership is your strongest focus, as well as contracts and agreements with others. What happens around the 23rd might be interesting in this.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
For you the harmony-focused lunar eclipse on the 4th highlights friendships, your links to groups and team work, as well as what and where you find fun and entertainment. For the past few years now, you’ve been redefining your sense of security and updating income and resources (yes you can be practical when you need to be), and this transformation and renewal is always ongoing, kind of like your ever-evolving self. But there’s visible progress along the way and this is what you’ll be noticing during April; probably around the 2nd, 18th, and 23rd, but particularly around the 8th, when an important turning point or change of perspective is also happening.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Now that your ruler planet Saturn is in the most non-resistant area of your chart, you might be finding yourself less irritated by or allergic to certain people or situations. It’s all becoming a bit like water off a ducks back to you, which might really work for you this month, as there’s a long-term focused lunar eclipse on the 4th, impacting the most public part of your chart dealing with reputation, status, career and ambition. You have a very strong sense of what you want and of your priorities right now, and it’s all about honouring this while not allowing others to distract or unbalance you with their different perspectives. See what happens around the 23rd relative to this.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
An insatiable curiosity and thirst for knowledge has brought experiences that transformed you, especially over the last 3 years. All along it was really more about self-knowledge and feeling more at home in yourself, no matter where on earth you found yourself. You are still digesting experiences and deciding what has relevance for who you are now, and this is what the first half of April is about (events around the lunar eclipse on the 4th point to this). After the 8th there’s a lovely turning point in love and partnership, then from midmonth and especially around 23rd, you thrive on the grounding and stability from home and family matters.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
A lunar eclipse on the 4th focuses on trust; whether it’s trust in others, or others trusting you, it’s about a powerful need for certain situations to feel balanced, fair and harmonious even though there may be many uncontrollable or unknown/unknowable factors within those situations during April. The message of this moon is to keep believing in win/win solutions and keep choosing to step forward from the perspective that everyone can be happy with a situation even if you personally can’t make everyone happy. Then after the 20th, communications and connections are strong and stable (and focused on renewal and regeneration around the 23rd).
