December 2014 horoscopes

Here we go, last one of the year... seasonal greetings to you and yours :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Beginning of December includes a change of focus and new directions, especially linking to friendships, groups and gatherings (from the 4th). Then momentum and intensity builds for another major meeting between two big impact planets, Pluto and Uranus on the 15th. Since 2012 they have symbolised total transformation of self and circumstances, and this is the latest chapter; easy to see perhaps around new moon and solstice on the 21st when the most public side of your chart (career, status, reputation, etc) is alight with activity. Duty and obligation rubs up the rule-breaker in you the wrong way this month, but don’t get too dramatic about it.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Your ruler Venus is right at the centre of a major planet pattern this month, indicating this is a pivotal month of getting up close and personal with all changes and challenges. In other words, staying present (rather than moving mentally or literally into escapism mode) will move you through changes and challenges automatically so just showing up and doing your best with what presents itself is enough for positive transformation to occur, regardless of how intensely unknown or unpredictable things feel to be. Consider the new moon and solstice on the 21st to be a powerful point in time, symbolising new paths and perspectives unfolding now to live fully and learn by.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
The annual full moon in your sign on the 6th reveals situations coming to a head, especially linking to relationships, contracts and agreements. Reconnection with the past is important here somehow too. Midmonth there’s another meeting between two powerful planets (Uranus and Pluto), symbolising deep and complete inner transformation. If you look back to 2012 and notice how profoundly different you are now to then, you get the idea. You’re experiencing levels of trust in yourself (and therefore in circumstances) that were inaccessible before 2012, and events around the new moon and solstice on the 21st are all about that. It’s about the freedom of commitment, and other paradoxes.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Since summer 2012 two powerful planets (Uranus and Pluto) have periodically linked up in slow-moving and steady formation, indicating complete and utter transformation of your most important relationships, important contracts and agreements, as well as ambitions and long-term plans. Midmonth December marks another link-up; suggesting depth, intensity and uncertainty in these areas of your life. Think of it as an awakening, where you’re shaken from a sound sleep into the harsh light of day; not nice at first perhaps, but fine once you’re up and running. Events around the new moon and solstice on the 21st show the adjustments made and a new chapter beginning.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Limits, restrictions and responsibilities linked to your home and family matters look likely to lift or feel easier from the 23rd. At the same time you are approaching fun, creativity, entertainment and matters of the heart much more seriously. Midmonth there’s another super-charged planet meeting between heavyweights Pluto and Uranus, which since 2012 have indicated a profound shaping and reshaping of day to day schedules, employment, and health and fitness. Events this month and in particular around new moon and solstice time on the 21st are about the latest developments and progress, and communication seems particularly relevant in all this somehow.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
First half of the month is about finding a balance or harmony between work and home life, and the full moon on the 6th indicates you’re focusing more on home and family matters, as career and ambitions had your full attention recently. Midmonth has a message about significant transformation in circumstances: since 2012 some powerful planet patterns have periodically been active in your chart, suggesting deep and long-lasting changes, and mid-December hosts the latest big planet activity. Notice events around new moon and solstice time on the 21st for progress and developments in this, and also to make sense of any changes so far (especially linked to resources and income).

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
First week focuses on communication and travel. Friendships grow and hopes and dreams can manifest under the full moon on the 6th. This is also the month to concentrate on the healing not the hurt. Your ruler Venus moves to your home and family chart sector from the 10th, in preparation for some intense focus in this area of your life. On the 15th a very powerful meeting of planets indicates another chapter of change and make-over is underway; since 2012 there’s been total transformation at times, in key relationships, contracts and agreements linked to home and family matters. Events around new moon and solstice time on the 21st will reveal much more on this.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Important month for Scorpio. All the big planet movement (and it’s big) is relevant to you, meaning there’s deep and profound movement in key situations, especially stuck situations, relating to communication, neighbourhood, siblings, employment, health and fitness. Looking back to 2012 when this particular planet pattern began, you can see how deep and profound change and transformation (often unexpected) has impacted those areas of your life. The new moon and solstice on the 21st symbolises open doors and new beginnings linked to all this, and from the 23rd there’s a sigh of relief and freedom, when restrictive and sensible Saturn leaves your sign after two years.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
This is an intense month of activity and revelation, starting with a relationship-themed full moon on the 6th, highlighting how partners are your mood mirror, reflecting back your sense of fulfilment, or lack of it. Midmonth there’s powerful attention aimed at income and resources, linking to fun, entertainment and creative endeavour. This is has been ongoing for a couple of years now; it’s all about a transformation of circumstances linking to a profound, personal renewal or rebirth (and new moon and solstice on the 21st is important here too). Saturn, planet of maturity and responsibility moves into your sign from the 23rd, encouraging you to take yourself more seriously when it matters.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
So much is building up or coming to a head this month; so much that has been rumbling for quite a while now is becoming too strong to ignore. First half of the month you feel reflective and quiet, but midmonth onward you really come into your own, especially when it comes to home and family matters. The sun moves into your sign under an unusually powerful new moon of new beginnings on the 21st, then your ruling planet Saturn moves into a new sector of your chart for the foreseeable, which is about lifting restrictions, responsibilities or obstacles linked to friendships, groups and gatherings.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Great start to the month with a sweet harmony of planets, and action planet Mars moving into your sign from the 4th. It means you’ve lots of motivation and you’re feeling good while you do it, and that’s especially true when comes to communication (a big theme for December). Two powerful planets meet on the 15th, symbolising another momentous chapter in the personal transformation you’ve been going through since 2012. The changes were about your voice and the power of self-expression, so notice this month, and especially around new moon and solstice time on the 21st, that events might seem out of your hands, yet are still building confidence in communication.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
It’s a powerful month for Pisces. First half of December is focused on the many demands on your time and energy, which you mostly enjoy, but sometimes feel drained or disillusioned about. Then as the month goes on, and especially around new moon and solstice time on the 21st, your focus is very much concentrated on situations involving friendship, groups and gatherings, and especially involving your hopes and dreams for the future. Things are changing profoundly, sometimes unexpectedly in those areas, and it reflects profound change in you too. In other words, it’s a great time to start a new year.

November 2014 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Whatever form events take during the first week of November there’s an underlying calmness or healing quality that promotes peace of mind. Around midmonth, particularly the 10th, there’s a potent and productive energy in situations linked to career, status and long-term aims. Renewal and rebirth are key words here; trust the process means trust the timing, and stay comfortable in the (temporary) unknown or uncertainty. An amazing new moon on the 22nd suggests new adventures and learning experiences are on the cards, so watch how circumstances seem to be shifting into a new shape, to better support you in new directions.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
The annual full moon in your sign happens on the 6th. It’s a time to take stock; energy and emotions are exaggerated, so it’s easier to see where you stand and how you feel about certain things. Then, choosing a positive interpretation of events is important (especially midmonth) for finding and maintaining that harmony and balance you seek in yourself, and with others especially by the end of the month. Your ruling planet Venus moves into new territory from the 16th, mirroring your own moves at that time; and a truly beautiful new moon message in events around the 22nd is that faith in yourself will be rewarded.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
There’s a rare new moon on the 22nd at the doorway of your house of relationships. It means it’s a mega-month for embarking on new or renewed partnerships, or for taking a leap of faith with contracts and agreements. Faith is the keyword here; it’s a journey unfolding over time, appealing to your adventurous spirit (more adventurous after the 16th), and to the seeker of what’s deep and real in yourself and others. Stay optimistic; it’s most challenging during the second week when events are a pressure cooker and seem designed to keep you in the dark, but the new moon is your light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t doubt it.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
There’s a rare new moon on the 22nd, indicating the start of something good, maybe linked to problem-solving and solution-seeking, and likely involving health and fitness (another of your priorities right now). You’re powering up your positive attitude and feeling ready to leap with faith into great new cycles of experience, and as your confidence rises, so does your resourcefulness, with good results. Matters of the heart (especially around the 10th) are about the new level of intimacy that sharing your truth opens you up to; while doubts or confusion just mean take some time to get clear, they don’t mean stop and discard what you want.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
November has a theme of moving on. It might not seem like it, particularly around midmonth as unfinished or unexpected business has you stuck to the spot while you sort it (especially linking to home and family matters) but trust the process involves movement, especially emotionally. A rare and fabulous new moon on the 22nd takes place in your house of creativity and fun, which can mean new projects, new romance or new entertainment; basically anything you want to put your heart and soul into, new adventures are calling you. The challenge is to hold to your vision despite any setbacks, and watch your faith move mountains.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s a focus on talking out or talking through issues up to midmonth (especially 6th and 10th). You aren’t frivolous when it comes to conversation; you hate to waste good words and unless you think there’s value to sharing you’d rather just shut up shop, so this looks like it might be an interesting time for valuable communication. The new moon on the 22nd marks a new phase in home and family matters involving new ventures and the start of something big. But don’t let others rain on your parade; who knows why they act how they act, just keep refocusing on your faith and hope and clarity.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
For much of the month the focus is on security and resources. The full moon around the 6th magnifies circumstances, maybe involving money, self-worth and shared finances, in order to make certain choices and decisions more obvious. By midmonth you realise you can’t control circumstances by making sacrifices (especially when it comes to home and family matters). Your planet is Venus, which from the 16th is in confident conversation mode. This, alongside an adventurous new moon on the 22nd indicates new communication and information to fill you with faith about new horizons. Doubts are the real source of insecurity, so don’t let them cloud or distort a good opportunity.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
The sorting out process continues this month, especially during a full moon on the 6th that focuses on all important relationships, including your relationship with you. Clearing clutter means clearing your way forward, especially emotionally; so go with your flow and let go of what is outdated. This includes feeling limited or trapped by your view of past defeat or failure as it’s all in the eye of the beholder. Events midmonth amplify this idea intensely and significantly, particularly around the 10th and 14th; then a starry-eyed new moon on the 22nd is about new and positive expectation that prepares you to seek and find valuable and lucrative new opportunities.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
The sun begins its annual journey through your sign from the 22nd and on that day there’s a truly fabulous new moon in your sign too, indicating exciting new adventures and opportunities ahead for those willing to keep the faith long enough for things to take root and take shape. There’s a good deal of emotional intensity to November events, particularly around the 6th, 10th and 14th, that might feel like unresolvable setbacks. Take heart though; always regroup and choose a loving perspective, as others are prepared to meet you half way if you stay soft and sensitive rather than applying too a heavy hand toward too heavy a situation.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Friends, family, home and comfort zones are all your priority for much of the month, as there are some complex and unique dynamics at play during certain situations, which attract your attention and increase your desire for easier, smoother and more satisfying progress and developments. Particularly around the 10th, when a meeting of potent planets in your sign suggest control or power trips are inevitably some people’s chosen strategy for success. Make sure it’s not yours though, as the long-range climate definitely favours authenticity and integrity as the secure route to long-term increase and expansion, no matter how many mini-victories appear to come to those who are frivolous about such values.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
It’s all about career, reputation, ambition and long-term plans for much of November. The full moon on the 6th indicates the rebirth or renewal of plans involving home or family, and Mercury’s movement this month suggests the truth will out, so no matter how in the dark you feel at times, keep expecting the news you want to hear (and find a good hiding place for the truth you want to keep to yourself). There’s a turnaround or turning point from the 16th, linking to finance and resources, and this also links to friendship, teamwork and group involvement following the new moon of the 22nd, with new opportunities and new paths revealing themselves.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
It’s a month of crossroads, turning points and new directions; literally or emotionally. A security-orientated full moon on the 6th indicates your views and beliefs about a lot of things are transforming, so time and lots of emotional space is necessary to feel into what this might mean for you in future. After the 16th your ruling planet Neptune moves forward after months of looking to the past, symbolising the same in you; then an adventurous and aspirational new moon on the 22nd, right at the top of your chart, indicates new life being breathed into valued ambitions and future plans.

Scorpio Solar Eclipse (23rd October 2014, 11pm UK time)

ooooh it's an interesting eclipse!
... in Scorpio it's all about the point of no return... where in your life are facing a point of no return? The point of no return isn't the end of the story with Scorpio though, it means you're also renewing, rebirthing, and rising from the ashes restored and ready to roar.

This eclipse is such an unusual planet set-up too. It doesn't happen often! What's happening is the sun starts its yearly journey through the sign of Scorpio and almost immediately its joined by the moon, which means it's a new moon at the beginning of the sun's journey - this doubles up the 'new beginnings' symbolism, so expect new starts, new emotions, new steps, etc in your own circumstances.... added to this, it's an eclipse, which in astrology makes events and circumstances that are happening around you now much more likely to have long-term impact and importance.

Imagine throwing a pebble into a lake, it plops in and makes pretty circles in the water that radiate out.... and then take a huge stone, throw that in and watch the splash and waves it makes... that's the difference between your average new moon and an eclipse moon - events that are happening around this time radiate their impact far out into the future, just like those big stones in the water.

Planet Venus is also moving into Scorpio at the same time. Venus is linked to relationships and money (values and value in other words), so expect new 'stuff' going on there too.

So what to do about all this? Not much! Just notice how the symbolism matches what's going on with you. And be aware of the power you have within situations to choose your response, instead of losing yourself in knee-jerk reactions. Sometimes there's not much we can do about circumstances, but we can always do something about where we stand in them; who we choose to be and how we choose to view things.

Scorpio is also about trust, confidence, secrets, the unknown, the afterlife, and again the point of no return...there's always a point of no return with Scorpio, a line that once crossed feels like there's no going back. Maybe though, it's just another way of saying we are updating ourselves and our circumstances to better reflect who we are now instead of who we once were. Always more than before, never less than before.

October 2014 Horoscopes

What an amazing month October promises to be...

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Awesome month for Aries! A lunar eclipse in your sign on the 8th sets the tone for months, sometimes years ahead. Eclipses usher in important new cycles, while events at the time will show the theme. For you it’s about a new you. Freedom and adventure are calling and you are responding. It’s about broadening horizons through travel or education and most of all by enjoying the journey. An outstanding solar eclipse on the 23rd is about a renewed sense of trust in the unknown; change is happening and you are willing to go with the flow, no matter how up close and personal it becomes.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
These are interesting times for you. There are two intensely powerful eclipses on the 8th and 23rd that symbolise significant new beginnings and developments. The first eclipse is about events and situations that serve to develop your inner-self relationship; for example your imagination, your mediation and reflections, intuition, your dreams - and also your sleeping pattern. The second eclipse is about developing your relationships with others. The effects are being felt all month and beyond, but particularly what happens around the 23rd is likely to be intense, memorable and have long-term effects in some key relationships (old and new), also in contracts and agreements.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Your ruling planet Mercury retrogrades from the 4th (appears to move backwards) which suggests it’s a month of reconnection and reunion, (stand out dates are 10th, 15th and 25th). Two powerful eclipses on the 8th and 23rd indicates certain areas of your life are becoming intensely energised and active, with events full of long-term significance and big changes. The 8th lunar eclipse seems to be linked to love, fun, friendship, groups and gatherings, while the solar eclipse on the 23rd is about solutions, schedules, work, health and fitness. Mix this with Mercury retrograde and it indicates a welcome finish of unfinished business and a renewed focus on the here and now.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
You are plugged in firmly to the moon and its cycles, so when eclipse time happens (8th and 23rd for October) you flow easily with the wrapping up of old situations (8th) and the beginning of new paths and directions (23rd) as it all makes sense to you. Renewing or updating existing aims and ambitions is the eclipse focus, and any restless, unsettled moods are about your impatience to get the ball rolling. The urge to adjust priorities (especially regarding home/family matters) is a strong eclipse theme, but what happens around the 23rd (maybe linking to romance, creativity or entertainment) holds the real message of the month; maybe for months to come.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Hold onto your hat Leo; two eclipses plus rare planet alignments means it’s a powerful, productive and passion-filled month. You are more energised, focused and willing to act on your aims and desires than ever before, and the lunar eclipse on the 8th suggests a strong urge for freedom and a change of routine; maybe you’re broadening horizons through travel or education, but whatever it is, you are seeking the road less travelled, an alternative route, and a unique approach. An exceptional solar eclipse on the 23rd is about deep-reaching, long lasting changes to accommodate this, linked to comfort zones, home and family matters.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s a lot of unavoidable backtracking, retreating or going over old ground, as your ruling planet Mercury retrogrades (appears to move backwards) from the 4th. This focuses on communication until the 10th, then finance and resources until the 25th, when a big turning point in events looks likely to move things forward. Adding momentum and long-term significance to all this are two eclipses (8th and 23rd) that usher in very important new beginnings in relationships, contracts and communication. To move forward, some doors must close, but have confidence in (rather than trying to control) the unknown territory you are stepping into.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
The powerful progress of last month continues during October with two important eclipses on the 8th and 23rd. The lunar eclipse on the 8th is especially significant for Libra; it suggests this is an important time in relationships, contracts and agreements, with current circumstances having a long-lasting impact somehow. Eclipses like these don’t happen every day, or even every decade, so take note of what happens around solar eclipse time on the 23rd, as your ruler Venus stands close by it in your finance and worth chart, meaning a new cycle of harmony and balance relative to resources and wealth is your priority now and for the long-term.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Scorpio is an all or nothing kind of sign, so you’ll understand that if I say it’s all happening for you during October, it really IS all happening; symbolised by an important new moon eclipse in your sign on the 23rd, about new (or renewal of) cycles, situations and events with long-term impact. The sun begins its annual journey through your sign that day, shedding much needed light on circumstances that have kept you in the dark; and love and security planet Venus also stands close by, indicating matters of the heart and your sense of stability have your full attention too. It’s powerful and empowering stuff.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Two eclipses on the 8th and 23th means it’s a memorable month with lots happening; you are pro-active, energised and inspired. Don’t trample your ideas and creative vision; follow through with faith first then action. Don’t act until you believe fully in what you’re moving towards, so settle doubts and ignore doubters (there’s no obligation to prove anything). The rare and powerful solar eclipse on the 23rd happens in the most spiritual part of your chart, which means reflection, alone time, meditation, space to breathe and connect with yourself all have a deeply nourishing, regenerating and healing effect on you. Make it a lifestyle choice.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Two potent eclipses this month indicate potential long-term change and transformation. On the 8th the lunar eclipse points to home and family matters, as well as comfort zones and emotional connections. Restless or unsettled moods mean you desire change but do not quite believe you are ready to receive yet, so the rest of the month is about moving your confidence more into line with your longings. The solar eclipse on the 23rd is an intensely powerful time with far-reaching effects. It’s about friendships groups and gatherings, others on your wavelength and what happens when you all get together. Action planet Mars in your sign in your sign from the 26th means you’re ready to roll.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
It’s an amazing eclipse month for Aquarius! Two eclipses (8th and 23rd) hitting your chart in very personal and profound ways, suggesting positive change and transformation coming  during October and influencing weeks, maybe months ahead, as new beginnings and directions gather momentum. The lunar eclipse on the 8th is about communication, information, beliefs and perspectives; events are opening your mind and your inbox with sudden dialogues, spontaneous conversation and power-packed exchanges that prepare the way for an intense, hard-hitting eclipse in your long-term aims and ambitions chart. The stakes feel high regarding work, reputation and status; lots of unknowns and uncertainty but watch how the path unfolds with faith.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Two powerful eclipses on the 8th and 23rd make this a pivotal month, with strong focus on finance, resources, travel and education. While there’s plenty happening all month that ties up loose ends and gets the ball rolling on new projects and plans, it’s events during the final week, with the potent solar eclipse on the 23rd and a big turning point or change of direction around the 25th, that seem full of long-term significance and impact. It’s quite possible that faith is being restored in a big way as the message for months ahead seems to revolve around renewal and rejuvenation; so rise from those ashes, Pisces the phoenix.

Full Moon in Pisces Conjunct Chiron - 9th September 2014

This annual full moon in the mystical, dreamy, sleepy, peace-loving sign of Pisces is an unusually strong healing moon, so go with the flow and get on the Pisces wavelength for the next couple of days, whether it’s through art, meditation, music, nature or a good snooze… surrender your senses to that unmistakable feeling of witnessing a sensational sunset, a smiling baby, or the power of your favourite music. You know that feeling - it’s uplifting, heart-opening, a recognition of oneness, and connection with something pure, profound, awesome and REAL - very real, yet indescribable, uncontainable, and ineffable.

What is being healed with this full moon is the idea that this energy, this Spirit, this experience, is somehow wispy and weak compared to our big, bold, rough and tumble world of logic and scientific certainty. Quite the opposite, it’s what holds us secure enough to create even a rough and tumble world, and it’s what holds us all together to play within that world. God’s glue.

This rare healing moon is about peeling back the layers of self-doubt and disbelief, to find underneath only the gentle velvet touch of unconditional Love and its oneness/awareness with all the universe. It’s who we each are underneath, in our own unique and magnificent ways. We often let ourselves peek into the mirror that is this physical universe, at the beautiful sunsets and babies and music that are reflected back to us, and we feel the appropriate awe and reverence of it all, but we often don’t realise it’s also us we are sensing. Oneness is a tricky concept; if you perceive magnificence ‘out there’ it’s your own magnificence you are feeling. Confused? Doubtful? Let the full moon in Pisces be your guide...

September 2014 Horoscopes

September already! Here are the horoscopes for this month...hope you enjoy and thanks for reading x

Aries
21st March – 20th April
So much is happening behind the scenes this month, which can mean you are the one working away from the spotlight, or the one left to wonder how things can work out for you (the answer is ‘like magic’). Old hurts and wounds might be reactivated, particularly at full moon time around the 9th, but the intention is for healing, so choose to make peace with things to benefit from these valuable vibes. Relationships, contracts or agreements get your attention, especially around the 23rd and 24th, under the Equinox and new moon, indicating the beginning of important new partnerships, and a new sense of harmony and balance.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
You are now in the right position to reap rewards of earlier work and effort. Keep your mind open and receptive to the flow of good things into your life and watch how the universe delivers. Your planet is Venus which loves to value people, places and things, and the full moon on the 9th is a symbol of the promise of much more of this to come; there are always ups and downs, and the key is to not take the down times personally. That’s a challenge after midmonth (especially around 24th) as it’s easy to focus on what felt unfair, but balance it by pondering your recent achievements.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
A recent time of rest and renewal has done wonders for your soul, meaning you feel more clear and connected than ever. Recognition and respect is coming your way (maybe long overdue), symbolised by the beautiful healing full moon in your ambition chart (around the 9th); and midmonth Mars, the planet of drive and desire, moves into your relationship chart, suggesting sharp and purposeful action around love, contracts and agreements. An AMAZING new moon at Equinox time on the 24th is about justice; a fair balance of the scales at last. It’s also about fun, entertaining and creative times that are here to stay for those who want and believe it.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Recent experiences felt enlightening and insightful, so in general you’re happier and more optimistic, and certain situations look more sorted and balanced as September gets underway. A powerful healing moon on the 9th is about concentrating on the journey rather than the destination; or the process rather than the outcome. Midmonth is about matters of the heart, and getting in touch with values and priorities in relationships, and discussions are detailed. A very important new moon on the 24th indicates a very important new start. You might be temporarily reclusive until emotionally settled about what that might mean for you.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Plans have needed patience for some time now; September shows that it has all been about good timing, and about having the confidence to hold your nerve until the time was just right. Midmonth you should be seeing some results about this, especially linked to home and family matters, and also about work and career plans. Energy builds to the powerful new moon on the 24th, which ushers in a new era for harmony and resonance in communication; if you have been asking for peace, fairness and justice in certain situations then this might be the start of something interesting.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s a powerful full moon in your relationship chart on the 9th that speaks of emotional healing. It’s about the power of compassion and acceptance to heal conflicts or pain, and about how criticism or negative judgments keep hurts and wounds open. Wishes are granted regarding solutions and reconciliations but it never happens from justifying or pushing your point (however right you may be). Trust your intuition midmonth as you are spot on and you can sense what lies behind metaphorical closed doors. Final week there’s a fabulous financial-themed new moon, and you might prefer your own company, in order to sort and process your thoughts.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Hold your nerve if things feel right to you at the moment, meaning don’t let anything cast a shadow over where you are on an issue or circumstance, as the light at the end of the tunnel is definitely getting bigger, and you’re moving in the right direction. You might see evidence of this in events from midmonth, as there’s a sense of balance and harmony with you that comes from choosing and moving with the courage of your conviction. A super-charged new moon in your sign on the 24th supports this, and suggests you are taking any further challenges in your stride.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
The right mind-set is so important and the planet pattern for the first half of the month (especially full moon time around the 9th) is all about soothing, calming and dissolving old hurts and regrets that might have held your attention on the past rather than your present and future. Pluto is your planet, and it changes direction on the 22nd, again symbolising a big turning point for you; it coincides with a balancing and harmonising new moon on the 24th which is great for relationships, especially friendship. It’s also time to make the effort with communication as this is all good groundwork to build from.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
There are choices to be made this month (in love and relationships?), but rather than waste time weighing pros and cons of each possible path (it’s too much logic and not enough heart), it might be more productive to ponder your values and what really matters to you in life. Making your decision from the confidence and clarity of self-awareness is easy because you know all the answers, it’s just a case of asking yourself the right questions. Mars, planet of desire and action, is in your sign from the 13th, symbolising how ready, willing and able you are to get the ball rolling on all this.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
It’s the kind of month where big changes and important new experiences are probable, not just possible, which might feel exhilarating and daunting in equal measure. To get the most out of this, trust your instincts as well as your logic as it’s the blending of the two that gives you the detailed picture. There’s a strong and sure new moon in your ambition and status chart on the 24th; which suggests significant new beginnings in store for those willing to keep their hearts and minds open. This particularly links to work and career, but includes anything right now where achievement matters a lot to you.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
As September gets underway your leadership skills are required, as well as your patience dealing with authority and authority figures. There’s a benevolent full moon in your resources chart on the 9th, which bodes well for income and purchases, and for sorting out stuff with others too, meaning actual ‘stuff’ and emotional. There’s a sense of fate or destiny at times this month, perhaps because there’s coincidence and synchronicity afoot in events and meetings. Make sure you speak your truth, as the wisdom of your experience is there to pass on to others, and (especially around new moon time on the 24th) your path holds great power of new potential right now.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
It’s a big month for all relationships; in matters of the heart and also contracts or agreements. The full moon in your sign on the 9th is powerful regarding this. Events around that week can confound or heal you, and it’s how you see yourself in circumstances that will make all the difference. Meaning, if you can see how strong you are, despite any limitations, then conflicts heal. But focus on unfair treatment or justice not served, and a frustrating tyre spin effect occurs, and all efforts grind you down further. You have excellent support and back-up this month, and look for new, maybe swift developments (after midmonth, especially 24th).

Horoscopes for August 2014

Bit late with the horoscopes this month... here they are on super full moon day. I don't get that excited by super moons, just because they aren't as rare as other events in astrology that never get reported. But super moons are nice.
Annual full moon in Aquarius today... sign of friendship, groups, gatherings, teamwork, life choices and life styles. What is in the emotional spotlight for you on these themes just now?
Here's the scopes, Thanks for reading :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Despite any recent setbacks, despite slow movement of situations, even despite being pulled emotionally all over the place at times, you have the ability to stay focused on what really matters to you this month. Maybe that’s because you’re now more comfy with the unknown, and more willing to move forward for the sake of your dream or ideal (notice evidence of that around full moon time on the 10th). Basically it’s about not letting outside pressures or inner doubts cloud your clarity, and the new moon on the 25th speaks of great rewards for those who stay loyal to what feels real and right in their heart, not just their head.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
There’s a lot of focus on home and family matters for August, and you might notice how things revolve around the idea of comfort zones and about who or what is welcome in your private space. The planets certainly suggest differences of opinion or conflict of interests at times but that doesn’t mean it’s a ‘bad’ month; any low points will help to clarify and define your dreams and desires more fully (especially after the 15th and particularly around the 25th), suggesting there’s much more to gain than to lose by being yourself no matter what others have to say about it.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
There’s plenty of great conversation and enlightening information in store, especially up to midmonth; it’s easy to over-react or overdo things when tired or stressed though, so that’s the time to give yourself and others a break. The full moon on the 10th magnifies feelings about the emotional journey you’ve been on and how you’ve had no choice but to change your perspective and beliefs about so many things. The new moon on the 25th carries another important message about this: don’t get caught up in negative thinking. Fears or doubts can seem very real, yet in reality they remain just fears and doubts, to buy or not buy into.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
It’s time to get comfortable with recognition and profile-raising as there’s lots to gain right now. There’s an understanding being reached within yourself and a new sense of peace and harmony to experience as a result. That includes more balance (accept the help and support that comes your way). Also, the message of the rather mystical and philosophical new moon on the 25th is that a bit of faith goes an awful long way. Someone might reflect that truth back to you just when you need it most, so stay open to heartfelt advice (if it feels good it’s from the heart).

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Your intuition or gut instinct is something you can rely on in, so don’t forget to use it this month, perhaps around the full moon on the 10th that focuses on relationships, but especially the final week (especially 25th) when it’s important to separate fact from fiction and hopes from fears in matters involving finance and shared resources. Pressures or stress linked to extra responsibility around home and family situations might feel unwanted, yet
love planet Venus joins 3 other planets in your sign from the 12th, indicating increased energy, attention and movement (and therefore success) in what is important to you.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Don’t overthink things this month. Not easy when it’s your responsibility to make communication go well, and not easy when logical Mercury moves into your sign (15th) preferring efficiency, order, and for everything to utterly make sense in situations, but the message is about not backing yourself into a corner made of endless possibilities you have no control over. The powerful new moon in your sign on the 25th calls you to let go of mentally micro-managing scenarios, and instead allow situations to unfold more naturally. Go with the flow and expect the flow to support you and your wishes more often.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
It’s a social and busy time for much of August, particularly up to and around midmonth; it’s all about friendship, support, parties, groups and gatherings. It’s a time to put yourself out there and be comfortable in the spotlight, especially as there’s likely to be a drama or two before the month is out. From the 23rd and especially around the 25th you are more likely to withdraw from the crowds; not in an anti-social way but instead to recharge batteries and give yourself time and space to process and reflect on what has happened throughout the month.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
For much of the month your energy and attention is directed toward career or long-term plans. Reputation, status and public image are all important to you now, as is finding balance and equality between your public and private life. Two planets, Mars and Saturn, meet on the 25th in your sign; it’s a slow build-up all month indicating slow-building stress and pressure in situations, and a sense that so much now is resting on your shoulders. However, a gentle and compassionate new moon on the 25th can soften the harsher effects of all this; just learn to let go and chillax in order to activate the moon magic.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Planets are meeting in your travel and education chart for much of the month, breathing life and energy into exciting new ideas and perspectives. Sagittarius is the philosopher of the zodiac, who prefers the wisdom of experience and the University of Life as a teacher, so the learning curves and emotional journeys of August are right up your street. There are important new beginnings indicated by the new moon on the 25th relating to career, aims and ambitions. With nebulous Neptune involved it might be a challenge to clearly define your vision at times, but this soft focus is so good for situations that feel hard, harsh or sharp.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
There’s definite progress on difficult situations this month, though with progress comes change and new considerations, so allow time to settle with new ways of seeing and being in certain situations. Your planet is Saturn, which is associated with limits, boundaries, authority and commitments; and around the 25th Saturn is involved in a powerful meeting with mighty Mars, the planet of desire, action, movement and self-interest. It means it all mixes together; there’s committed action, desires with boundaries, and self-responsibility. Work with these positive expressions and transform any negative expressions (pressure to act, self-denial, suppressed desire, etc).

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
A lovely full moon in your sign on the 10th indicates a shift in the energy of certain situations; it’s about a change in dynamics, or the end of waiting or delays. It’s about seeing things differently and being within situations in new ways. This connects powerfully with the new moon on the 25th, which speaks of transforming problems and finding new paths that include compassion and acceptance as a comfort zone. There’s special or unique communication at that time too, as well as something very distinct and defined going on with your career or long term plans. Don’t settle for less or lack, relax into the idea of abundance and clarity.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Lots of your beliefs and perspectives are being challenged this month, which is made easier by your compassion and empathy for yourself and others. It means you know how to hold the courage of your conviction steady while allowing others to believe and perceive differently. Around the 7th there’s a magical connection to discover with others, while the powerful new moon on the 25th makes promises in relationships that maybe only you know how to deliver. There’s an important balancing and rebalancing act going on this month, so remember to receive as well as to give, and to listen as well as to talk.

July 2014 Horoscopes

Here's my horoscopes for July! Its all change with Jupiter, planet of expansion and opportunity changing signs from Cancer to Leo, and staying there for the next year. Find out below what that might mean for you (and there's more on the Jupiter change to come).

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Up to midmonth there’s news and communication of interest and time spent feeling more settled about home and family matters. There’s also a sense both of completion and renewal when it comes to long-term plans and ambitions. Then from the 16th lucky planet Jupiter moves into your creativity and entertainment chart for the next year. It means endless opportunities for fun and good times ahead, along with new creative projects and romance as it’s about anything that moves your heart and soul to expression. There’s a stunning new moon on the 26th with events at that time that echo and emphasise all this.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
While there may be conflicting interests and maybe a few emotional lows to balance the highs, there’s still an outstanding astrological indicator of fabulous times in store in the shape of Jupiter, planet of positive expansion, who begins a year long journey through your home and family chart from the 16th. Last time was around 12 years ago, so think back to what you went through then and how it all contributed to a more positive home and family experience today. An impressive new moon links up to Jupiter on the 26th, and is about a new vision relating to your home comforts and comfort zones.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Jupiter is about good fortune, positivity and expansion and from the 16th it’s moving into your communication, news and information chart for a whole year. It’s a mega sign of opportunity and forward movement that can fill you with faith about your chosen path, your chosen partner, and your close relationships, and what happens around the 26th might give you a taster of this. July is also about sorting finances (especially first week and 22nd), romance (especially 12th), and work and career (final week). A change of mind sits well with the mood of the month so don’t be afraid go with the flow of unexpected updates to events.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
The sun is in your sign till the 22nd, which is a solid indication you’re ready to shine and meet the world on your wavelength (especially around the 9th). You might not feel like shining at times (maybe 4th, 12th, 22nd and 28th) as you are in the mood to clear old clutter and finish unfinished business whatever it takes, but it’s there, and this is emphasised by positive planet Jupiter moving into your finance and resources chart for the next year, from the 16th. Events around new moon time on the 26th might give you a glimpse of the sense of expansion and increase ahead that comes with Jupiter’s presence.

Leo
22nd July – 23rd August
What an inspiring month for Leo! The sun sparkles into your sign from the 22nd giving you a big creative boost, but bigger news is the arrival of Jupiter in your sign for the next year from the 16th. Jupiter indicates expansion, opportunity, renewed faith and self-confidence, and was last here 2002/3; so think back to then to see what good stuff got going. There’s a glorious new moon next to Jupiter in your sign on the 26th, indicating positive events that require faith and belief in your worthiness to receive; it’s all about accepting or allowing (not forcing) your abundance in.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
There’s a turning point for career and ambition at the beginning of the month, when movement forward gets you looking forward again. Friendship and fun feels deep and meaningful (especially 4th, 12th, 22nd, 28th), and there’s an emphasis on communication midmonth when limits lift and things go your way. Adventurous planet Jupiter moves into the most spiritual part of your chart from the 16th for the next year, which indicates important experiences in store that nourish and nurture the very heart of who you are. Look to events around the 26th for a sense of this; if it’s positive and a good opportunity, that’s Jupiter.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Mars has been in your sign since last December, much longer than usual, which has meant more focused action and motivation (and passion, around the 12th) though sometimes also a feeling that if you didn’t do it yourself then nothing would happen. This month, Mars is moving on, indicating a change in this respect; also emphasised by positive and confident Jupiter moving into your friendship chart from the 16th (for the next year), suggesting there’s now more appreciative support for your dreams and desires, along with helpful opportunities and lucky breaks. Events around new moon time on the 26th might be giving you a taste of this.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Jupiter’s placing in your chart over the past year has indicated increased faith and confidence in yourself and the world in general, and there’s also been self-development, education and travel that has broadened your horizons and nurtured your adventurous spirit. From the 16th Jupiter is moving into your career and status chart for the next year. It indicates positive expansion and opportunity in this area of your life; profile-raising and recognition too, so it’s getting the credit you feel you deserve. What happens around the new moon on the 26th is all about this.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
It’s a momentous month for Sagittarius; from midmonth and for the next year, your ruling planet Jupiter (planet of positivity and opportunity) moves into the area of your chart linked to travel, education, and basically anything that stirs your sense of adventure. Jupiter here encourages positive expectations and beliefs that help not hinder your chosen path and purpose. It gives a strong sense of direction and the ability to keep the faith when circumstances get tough, which means it’s easier to stick with new plans and projects despite competition or opposition. A magnificent new moon on the 26th ushers in this new era with events that validate and support all this

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
So much revolves around partnership, contracts and agreements this month. It might be emotionally intense at times (maybe 4th, 12th, 22nd or 28th) yet also productive; as there’s the finishing up of some unfinished business, and a sense of renewal or rebirth in key relationships. From the 16th and for the next year, positive planet Jupiter indicates good opportunities and expansion linked to shared resources and deep, meaningful connections, so let go of your inner control freak and resist getting caught in power trips or messy dynamics, as the unknown might hold a treasure you’ve been looking for. Events around new moon time on the 26th underlines this.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
This time last year you wouldn’t have thought you could have fit in all the expansion and developments that your daily schedule has come up with, especially in the past 6 or 7 months, but somehow you manage and even enjoy it. From the 16th and for a whole year, that same sense of positive expansion is now reaching certain relationships, contracts and agreements. It’s a time of opportunity and recognition in those areas of your life, so get ready for developments (maybe starting with the new moon on the 26th?). Before that, there’s an adventure or two to appreciate, around and about the 12th.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Positive planet Jupiter has been in the most heart-shaped, heart-felt area of your chart for the past year, which symbolises how you’ve been in the mood to let the good times roll and to appreciate life’s sweetness when and where it presents itself. From the 16th and for the next year, Jupiter offers expansion and development to your daily life, work schedule and health and fitness routine. Jupiter represents that faith-filled inner gut feeling that drowns self-doubt, so choose its confidence and believe in what the feeling of wellbeing can open you to in life (Maybe events around new moon time on the 26th will give you a sense of this).

Full Moon in Sagittarius, 13th June 2014...

... this full moon is on Friday 13th June at 5.11am, UK time.

And what's it all about? well firstly, my perspective is that Friday 13th is just another day astrologically, it's not lucky or unlucky, so don't be put off by that date!
Next, a full moon is always a beautiful symbol of culmination or fulfilment; it indicates contentment and satisfaction relating to a finish line or completion of certain situations.... also it can indicate movement where there is inertia/stuckness, and a turning point where there is the call for new direction.

Sagittarius is all about direction, and chosen paths, whether these are literal journeys or paths of belief and faith. This moon in Sagittarius is full of faith and promise about the road ahead. The challenge is to keep the faith when it comes to new opportunities and especially when it comes to opportunities to feel and express self confidence and self worth.

The writing below, by the wonderful Anita Moorjani, gets the moon in Sagittarius message across perfectly.... Sagittarius is the sign that enjoys learning and expanding through life experience more than books (although very at home in a classroom as it's about expansion and growth); so who better than Anita Moorjani's words of wisdom to fit the mood of the moon, and to offer authentic quality guidance on how to deal with what life throws us at this time (or any time!)
Happy full moon,
Namaste
Barbara

"I understood that true joy and happiness could only be found by loving myself, going inward, following my heart, and doing what brought me joy. I discovered that when my life seems directionless and I feel lost (which still happens to me frequently), what it really means is that I’ve lost my sense of self. I’m not connected with who I truly am and what I’ve come here to be. This has tended to happen when I stop listening to my own internal voice and give my power away to external sources, such as TV commercials, newspapers, big drug companies, my peers, cultural and societal beliefs, and the like.

Previously when I felt lost, one of the first things I did was to search outside for answers. I looked to books, teachers, and gurus, in the hope that they’d provide me with the ever-elusive solution. That’s exactly what I did when I was first diagnosed with cancer. But I only ended up feeling even more adrift because I was giving my own power away again and again.

I FOUND THAT HAVING AN INSIDE-OUT VIEW MEANS being able to fully trust my inner guidance. It’s as though what I feel has an impact on my entire universe. In other words, because I’m at the center of my cosmic web, the Whole is affected by me. So as far as I’m concerned, if I’m happy, the universe is happy. If I love myself, everyone else will love me. If I’m at peace, all of creation is peaceful, and so on.

If things seemed challenging, instead of trying to change them physically (which is what I did pre-NDE), I began checking in with my internal world. If I’m stressed, anxious, unhappy, or something similar, I go inward and tend to that first. I sit with myself, walk in nature, or listen to music until I get to a centered place where I feel calm and collected. I noticed that when I do so, my external world also changes, and many of the obstacles just fall away without my actually doing anything.

What I mean by being “centered” is experiencing being at the center of my cosmic web, being aware of my position. This is really the only place any of us ever are, and it’s important to feel our centrality at the core of it.

But from time to time, I would forget my central place in the cosmos. I got caught up in all the dramas, contradictions, angst, and pain of the physical world and couldn’t see myself as one of the expanded, magnificent, infinite beings we all truly are.

Luckily, I realized at those times that we never really become disconnected from the center. Rather, we temporarily lose sight of it and don’t feel the sense of peace and joy that comes from it. We get caught up in the illusion of separation and can’t see that happiness and sadness go hand in hand—like light and dark, yin and yang. Our sense of disconnection is simply part of the illusion of duality that makes it difficult to see oneness forming out of perceived separation. But getting centered means seeing through this and once again feeling our infinite place at the center of it all . . . at the center of oneness.

I still had the visceral knowledge that we’re all one with the universe. Therefore, I knew that even while I’m in my physical body, whether I’m aware of it or not, I am at the center of the great cosmic web that is the universe! This is the same as realizing my magnificence and my connection to the Infinite." ~ Anita Moorjani, from Dying To Be Me

June 2014 Horoscopes

We are racing through the year yet again! June already! Here's the horoscopes for this month, hope you enjoy :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
The year has moved forward in fits and starts; sometimes your motivation was strong, sometimes not, sometimes it felt better to stop and wait a while, sometimes to retreat. It was all a bit unpredictable, which matched your restless mood. January and April were key months in this, and whatever happened at that time is somehow relevant again during June, only now you’re finally moving beyond any sticking points in your own mind or in outer circumstances (especially 13th and 25th). Certainly as far as relationships go, it’s clear that while there’s no more going back, there’s more freedom to feel more at home (especially from the 27th).

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Venus, planet of wealth and worth is your planet, and it continues its home visit to your sign till the 23rd. This indicates increased focus on relationships, whether business or pleasure, including the relationship you have with yourself; ownership, values and attraction are your interest now, especially around the 9th and 18th, and also under the financially focused full moon on the 13th that calls powerfully for you to respond to any circumstance with self-approval and self-appreciation. Second half of June is about pushing forward with (rather than pushing aside) certain intuitions or gut feelings you’ve had this year. It’s time to go with the flow on all that.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
The sun is in your sign till the 21st, followed by harmony-seeking Venus from 23rd, so the world feels more on your wavelength, while confidence, creativity and clarity all get a boost. Your ruling planet Mercury is retrograde from the 7th, which traditionally is the time when computers, communication and schedules get scrambled or delayed; maybe this is most likely around 17th or 25th but there’s method to the madness of changes in timing or direction so relax into any twists and turns. Also, a full moon on the 13th focuses on fulfilling relationships, while a new moon on the 27th connects to new income and resources.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
There have been times this year (January and April specifically) where you’ve felt unsettled about long-term goals and plans, with unpredictable and unexpected events to contend with (especially relating to home and family), and you felt the need for more freedom within long-term commitments. Up to now it hasn’t been resolved in a satisfying way but maybe events during June hit the spot for you. From the 7th you notice you’re looking at things differently, which makes all the difference when the unsettled feelings re-emerge (maybe midmonth, most likely final week), and the beautiful new moon in your sign on the 27th symbolises renewed faith and confidence in your future.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
It’s a busy, fun and social first start to June, with focus on friendships, groups and gatherings, and reconnections to familiar places and faces you haven’t seen for a while. The full moon on the 13th emphasises all this and encourages your adventurous spirit out to play. After the 21st you’re ready to slow the pace somewhat and take some quiet time to yourself, with a new moon on the 27th all about finding solace in your favourite comfort zone, but there’s still plenty to dive into as this is also the time that certain communication suddenly moves forward in a way you’ve been waiting for, all year in some cases.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Mercury is retrograde from the 7th (appearing to move backwards). It means a change of mind or approach might be needed, especially linked to friendships, groups and gatherings, and from midmonth a re-think regarding career or long-term plans and ambition. Sounds like a lot to think about in one month, but really there’s been a long build-up to all this that makes it the next logical step to crack on with. Links to January and April this year are also relevant around the 17th, and as far as relationships or contracts go, there are beautiful new beginnings from the new moon on the 27th, with important links to the past.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
From the 7th the urge to return to education or to broaden horizons is strong (maybe career linked?) especially around the 21st when planet Venus moves to the travel and expansion area of your chart. Midmonth, particularly during the full moon of the 13th, your buttons are being pressed big style (maybe connecting to January and April somehow?) but resist blaming others (or yourself) as defensiveness and denial only keeps you tethered to a negative spot. By the final week of June you understand that balance is never achieved by focusing on imbalance, and that’s the kind of invaluable wisdom you just can’t learn in any class.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Certain changes you’ve wanted to make this year stalled for quite some time, leading to frustration and guilt about not pushing things hard enough. But let the self-disapproval go (especially midmonth, and particularly full moon time around the 13th), and let this month show you how things really move only when the time’s right. Maybe it’s a case of third time lucky now, linking back to January and April somehow; maybe you will see the same old obstacles stack up, but now you move easily beyond them after applying what you learned in past months during delays. The lesson is that no time is ever wasted.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
An adventure-loving full moon in your sign on the 13th shakes your restless spirit into action, and there’s a return journey in store this month; maybe to the right time and place to finish unfinished business, or perhaps you or a partner backtracks on recent decisions (it’s likely temporary and can be beneficial). Circumstances linking back to January and April might also be significant (especially around the 17th and 25th), while both business and love benefit from wealth and worth planet Venus moving from the 23rd. Finally, a new moon on the 27th indicates new experiences requiring trust and intimacy that feel like home sweet home.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Trying to get the balance right on work life versus home life is just one of the recurring issues this year (particularly January and April). It’s been difficult to plan or look long-term at many areas at times, either down to circumstances or because you wanted a very different path that wasn’t moving forward as you’d like. Those issues might surface again this month, but this time more productively. Key relationships figure highly in this, notice the change of mind or direction in partnerships from the 7th, and feel your faith restored in others under the new moon on the 27th.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Deep and perceptive insights about life, love and the universe have flowed easily though wordlessly to you for a long time now; meaning certain ideas that often unpredictably pop to your mind haven’t been that easy for you to describe or express to others with the fullness you first received them. And because Aquarius believes it’s all better out than in, this led you to doubt their relevance at times. June is about progress on this, and even though it might feel annoying or deja-vu when the same old situations show up again (maybe related to January or April?), this time you aren’t lost for words when it matters most to you (13th, 17th and 25th in particular).

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Family reunions, nostalgia, or old home comforts might be in store from the 7th. Venus also moves into your family and home chart from the 23rd, indicating harmony, balance and bridge-building are priorities this month, with maybe a bit of a restyle or redecoration for you home too. Whatever was left unfinished from January or April time looks likely to get the go ahead this month and be prepared to sail through any previous sticking points, especially midmonth and around the 25th. The new moon in your creativity chart on the 27th is fabulous for fun, entertainment and general good times. Pick a project and put your heart and soul into it.

May 2014 Horoscopes

A bit late posting, but here are May horoscopes at last :)

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Venus, planet of love and money, is in your sign from the 3rd, so love rivals don’t stand a chance against your competitive edge, and financial goals are fun for the challenge. Midmonth is the most interesting time for this, especially if you let go of needing to stay in control of everything. You feel a new sense of freedom from the 15th, followed by a highly significant turning point around the 20th, when your ruler Mars moves forward again for the first time since March. Many situations might start to run smoothly from then; enhanced by the mega-supportive atmosphere of the final week.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
The pressures and stresses of last month will keep lessening as May unfolds. Your ruler Venus enters the most secluded part of your chart from the 3rd, which suggests sleep, meditation and alone time will feel pretty attractive to you right now, though there’s a seriously potent full moon in your relationship chart on the 14th, indicating change and completion, and that is maybe enough to lose some sleep over. Whether it’s a high buzz of excitement or a low brooding mood, it’s uncertainty of the unknown behind it, but that’s something you are increasingly adapting to, particularly by the final week of May.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Attention has been squarely on money, resources, friendship and fun for some time now. Maybe you felt the strain of being pulled in those different directions, or maybe problems in those areas were more stubborn than they could have been, but whatever, this month sees a gradual release of tension or stuckness. Your ruler Mercury is in your sign from the 7th, followed by the sun on the 21st, indicating a fresh clarity and sense of stability regarding current circumstances. Friendships are undergoing powerful change midmonth, and an imaginative new moon on the 28th is all about a new you.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
There have been some stress and challenges over recent weeks that have felt immovable or unrelenting, yet there are clear signs of a smoother road ahead this month. That said, there’s a powerful full moon on the 14th, which suggests tension linked to certain career or relationship plans so make your goal harmony and co-operation. There’s significant movement forward on a home and family matter from the 20th (maybe related to events in March), and the final week (especially 24th) is about a super supportive environment around you that makes you feel more and more confident about your current direction and purpose.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Like last month, you’re focused firmly on the future but the difference is what seemed depressingly stuck is becoming flexible. Therefore a positive outlook is required despite any lingering perceived limitations so maybe this is easier after a midmonth full moon that challenges comfort zones and broadens horizons. This especially links to career and travel plans, but includes any deeply held desire that secretly occupies the spotlight of your imagination. There’s a big turning point in communication from the 20th (links back to early March somehow); and then there’s a fabulous final week with an easier, more supportive environment to nurture future plans (especially 31st).

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Recently it hasn’t been easy to get the ball rolling on anything, which though frustrating provided a sort of stability just from lack of movement. But May is giving way to much firmer foundations of faith hope and clarity, so release thoughts of being held back by circumstances and welcome a new sense of freedom. Maybe midmonth will be a turning point in this, when you heed the call to trust the process, then from the 20th you’re finally ready to move forward regarding finance and resources (this links back to early March). Final week flows with solid, supportive communication that heals rifts and mends hearts.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Mars, planet of action and drive, has been retrograde (appearing to move backwards) in your sign since early March. This can mean temporary slowdowns or delays in situations, also reduced desire or motivation, even tiredness and fatigue, but consider that time to have been an incubation period for your now emerging self, and as time and energy well spent. From the 20th Mars moves forward again, and before that there’s a clarifying full moon on the 14th about security and self-worth in both love and money. Then momentum builds magnificently for the rest of May, suggesting there’s expansion and opportunity where and when you need it most.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
The last few weeks have been tough; keeping up with the changes that haven’t come quick enough, and the changes you didn’t expect or ask for. This kind of pattern is set to dissipate through May, especially the final week, when a magnificent planet line-up restores your faith in humanity and rewards faith in yourself. But before that there’s a full moon on the 14th, all about not being hard on yourself for anything, and about giving your nearest and dearest a break too; maybe it was all the stress and pressure of recent months that made you see things more limited and restricted than needed.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
The tension of being pulled in many directions has been something you’ve had to get used to in recent weeks. Things feel progressively more relaxed this month, even with a rather full on full moon on the 14th, as there’s plenty of support  to relieve pressure, and it’s also a productive time, which means fun and interest for you; especially from the 20th when situations that have been slow since March begin to gain momentum. There’s new or renewed love and partnership symbolised by the new moon on 28th, but choose either scepticism or faith; you can’t pendulum swing between the two without missing what’s important to see right now.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
There’s more of an emphasis on moving forward instead of just adjusting to the sticking points of recent weeks. Midmonth might still be a bit sticky, as an intense full moon puts any situation under a magnifying glass that you’ve got your attention on, so make sure your attention is on what you want, not what you don’t want. From the 20th career and long-term plans and ambitions gain momentum for the first time since March, and then a really beautiful pattern of planets align; suggesting strength, stability, ease, comfort and harmony in partnerships, friendships and communication.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
Though recent months was about challenge, tension and pressure that you thought you could do without, as the energy now begins to relax and flow forward again, you might miss the intense concentration and focus it all stimulated in you. Also, having to dig deep and find more of yourself to give to a situation has been satisfying and empowering, so make the most of the times this month (especially full moon on the 14th), when the opportunity arises again for such powerful growth and self-confidence to occur. A particularly easy flow and harmony in ambition, resources and employment is another powerful and consistent experience for May.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Certain situations are beginning to shake loose and move forward during May, which is a welcome relief after weeks, even months of being slow, stuck or delayed. Other situations still require acceptance and your understanding; meaning if it appears broken, make peace with the break or it will never mend. There’s a big focus on family and home this month, especially under the new moon of new beginnings on the 28th, and there’s a quite beautiful line-up of planets that speak of good support and organisation where you need it most, including travel, education and matters of the heart.
