June 2013 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
You might feel pulled in different directions at once, which creates tension or pressure and strong desire to break free of the emotional intensity. You’re in rebellious mode, but from who? It turns out no matter what the situation looks like, it keeps coming down to you against you, and the quicker you make peace with that, the quicker you will ...move through any stuck or heavy pressures. There might be some interesting information or conversations around the 8th, while around the 19th there are answers you’ve been waiting for. Final week is so special, for home and family in particular.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
There’s a focus on finances and resources this month, particularly around the 8th, when the planets carry a message of something new coming your way, even if it’s just a new attitude from you towards this area of your life. Communication is significant all month, especially in relation to career and reputation; the feeling that things are unpredictable or happening unexpectedly, yet successfully is also emerging. Jupiter, planet of expansion and abundance moves into your house of communication for the next year from the 25th, which means it’s not presumptuous to expect good news.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
New moon in your sign on the 8th indicates some nice new beginnings this month. Mars and Jupiter in your sign (till end of May) indicate you have the energy and motivation to act on opportunities that come your way (and they do come your way, perhaps around 19th). Career/status/ambition might feel slow or in reverse at times, but trust there’s method to the madness; no need to panic in other words, and the final week in general looks fab, with Jupiter moving into your finance and resources chart till next year on the 25th, indicating opportunities and expansion in this area of your life.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Venus in your sign from the 2nd means your inner sparkle is more sparkly than ever to the outside world (but use this power wisely around the 10th). Let your ideas and insights inspire you during a tense but deeply transformative new moon on the 8th; you are in your creative flow this month, so trust it. The sun shines through your sign from the 21st, adding warmth and smiles, then a full moon (23rd) amplifies your sense of responsibility in key relationships. A change of mind around the 25th coincides with Jupiter - planet of expansion, abundance and upliftment - arriving in your sign for the next year. Nice!

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
The focus is on friendship and group participation for much of the month, and a new moon on the 8th reflects new and significant events manifesting that satisfy your curiosity and interest; particularly regarding spiritual paths or mind expanding journeys, as there’s a depth and mystery to certain situations at the moment that is awakening you to some of life’s big questions. Jupiter, planet of abundance, positivity and life’s big answers, moves into the most introspective part of your chart for the next year (25th), which means your inner world will connect you with great opportunities and answers if you take the time to listen.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
A new moon on the 8th in the area of your chart associated with career, reputation and status means there’s new beginnings there. It’s also the most public and ambitious area of your chart, and there’s quite a few planets collecting there during June (suggesting lots of energy and attention being focused) so there’s likely to be key events and situations unfolding that move or develop this area of your life in important ways (even around the 25th when it doesn’t appear to be that way). You are changing the way you look at certain relationships from the 7th, while there’s sweetness and light in friendships and fun.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Basically it’s a mixed bag kind of month; be clear and conscientious with travel arrangements during first week as it’s easy to get muddled or misguided, maybe down to others vague approach or unclear contracts and agreements. There’s also some tensions regarding home/family versus career/ambition, but parallel to this there’s a general good feeling vibe that helps you expect the best out of all situations, especially once lucky Jupiter begins a yearlong stay in your career/ambition chart from the 25th. Jupiter symbolises expansion and uplifting experiences; it’s the planet of opportunity and growth, and it was last seen here 12 years ago. Enjoy.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
Very interesting month for Scorpio; the dynamics of certain situations are complex, yet are likely to symbolise events that unfold smoothly and easily. You are not at the centre of events yet you have a sense of control, and also the awareness that trust in the unknown is essential to success right now. Others provide you with ideas and guidance that you’ve been waiting for but it’s you that turns it all into something you can really work with. From the 25th Jupiter (traditionally about luck and opportunity) is spotlighting your travel and learning chart, meaning the joy is in the journey for the next year or so.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Stay as positive as you can re house and family matters, as the way you see things decides whether it’s a smooth or bumpy ride of events, especially around 7th and 10th. A partnership themed new moon on the 8th suggests new harmony, new agreements, and new contracts. Relationships of all kinds are important this month (19th particularly), but do give yourself and others time and space to deal with old doors closing (noticable from 25th). Your ruler planet Jupiter is changing focus for the next year. Themes are healing, unknown territory, shared finances and new levels of closeness and intimacy in love. That’ll keep you busy for a
while.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Important communication from friends or certain group connections can soothe and soften hard and harsh feeling situations this month. Even long-standing stagnant stalemate negativity can dissolve or disappear into thin air, but you have to stay open-hearted and open-minded to receive the miracle. Believe to receive, etc. Yes, it’s not easy at times this month (especially 10th), but worth the hassle and discipline of staying on the bright side of the road mentally and emotionally. What happens around full moon on the 23rd might give emphasis to this, but positivity abounds from 25th once generous Jupiter moves into your relationship zone from the 25th.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
It has been an interesting few months for you. Communication has been a catalyst (intense at times) for growth, motivation, and ideas for the future; this continues during June (especially around 7th and 10th), but with more light-hearted moments as situations kick your fun and creative nature into gear. A full moon on the 23rd emphasises your true feelings about many things, health matters in particular; then Jupiter, planet of opportunity and abundance, moves to your health chart by the 25th for the next year, suggesting that with a positive eye on situations, a new strength day to day is yours.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Your ruler Neptune is retrograde from the 7th, which suggests you might be looking at the same situation quite differently from that time; perhaps a home or family matter is the catalyst for this, as there’s plenty of emphasis on this area of your life this month. There’s some fab planet alignments this month again involving Neptune (8th and 25th in particular), indicating in general you easily choose a relaxed, go with the flow attitude whatever life might throw your way. Abundant and lucky Jupiter starts a yearlong journey through your fun and creativity chart from the 25th, which makes going with the flow even more enjoyable.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus 9th/10th May 2013

The new moon solar eclipse in Taurus that is happening during the early hours of May 10th (UK time) is a solid sign of moving in the right direction toward more stability and security in matters that matter most to you.

New moons are about new beginnings while solar eclipses seed events that are important gateways to future experience somehow. In earthy Taurus this is future experience of the tangible and touchy feely sort.

If you’ve had your head and heart in gear at all over the past weeks during pondering and decision-making time, a way forward will have been slowly getting your attention, a path emerging that stands you toward a specific direction, and this eclipse is the marker point if you like, of realising that this path has worth and value precisely because YOU want to follow it.

Money, possessions, ‘things’, ‘stuff’, are all associated with Taurus as being an earth sign Taurus just loves loves loves the physical/material world and all it has to offer. Ruler planet Venus is the original lover and the original material girl, and so another Taurus understanding is how there’s no shame in that (without love added it turns into messy materialism mind you). So it’s likely that finances, possessions/property/purchases, business and income, etc, are all under the solar eclipse spotlight right now, with a view to more stability and security in future.

But also this solar eclipse is about what supports and sustains us in any way that feels valuable to us. Not what others say is valuable, but to us personally. Whatever it is of the physical world that resonates harmonises, and feeds our soul is very subjective, personal and authentic. And that matters, and so it matters that we own our interest and appreciate the life out of it. Or the life in it?

May 2013 horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
There’s plenty that says security and stability this month but there’s some niggles around communication. The solar eclipse on the 10th symbolises important events linking to finance and resources; what happens around that time will set a tone for the coming months, so take note of what’s unfolding as you might notice an emerging theme. Second half of May is the focus on information and messages. It’s hard not to jump to negative conclusions from the 17th as the emotional climate is (temporarily) intense, so wait for a sense of cool clarity to descend. It will.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Planets are gathering in your sign for the first half of the month, including a fabulous solar eclipse on the 10th, which means it’s all about you. Confidence levels can increase, along with your focus on your priorities. You might be giving yourself a makeover too; a new appearance in some way. Basically, the best this month has to offer comes when you deliberately acknowledge the stability and security you have achieved so far. Then there’s a more money focused lunar eclipse around the 25th, with a message not to make big decisions unless you’re crystal clear on the consequences.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
Up to solar eclipse time on the 10th you might be pondering thoughts of what brings you a real sense stability and security, and it’s these ideas that get the ball rolling on future plans. Planets continue to gather in your sign during May, which suggests your mood is extrovert, motivated, and rather flirty. The lunar eclipse on the 25th is all about relationships for you; certain planet patterns symbolise important challenges and change, so the message is to stay focused and don’t float off into negative thinking about the future. Stay grounded and realistic instead. Which means stay positive.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Certain friendships and relationships might transform this month; either a parting of the ways or finding new levels of connection. Either way it’s different to before yet feels the right way forward. It’s because you’re focused on updating certain lifestyle choices to be more in line with who you are now, not who you were, and the solar eclipse on the 10th is all about what’s new and to come regarding all this, while the lunar eclipse on the 25th is about integrating how you see things now. Seek the positive perspective of it all and enjoy the solid ground it stands you on.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Loads of planets are lining up in your house of ambition and reputation, so career focus, long term plans and/or your public profile is more important to you than usual this month. A solar eclipse on the 10th suggests a new spotlight is seeking you; possibly because you are ready for it, and because when the student is ready, the teacher appears. From around the 10th involvement with friendships, groups and gatherings increases; it’s a busy time socially, lots of like minds and compatible conversation. But during the final week (especially 25th) it’s too easy to get the wrong end of the stick so second guess your own suspicions.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Virgo likes practical viewpoints and down to earth philosophy. Not much time for the airy fairy stuff. No castles in the air or rainbows required, just grounded and/or earthy will do. So a solar eclipse on the 10th, symbolising new and interesting perspectives means a new sense of security and stability for you, born from how you now see things as a result of past experience. This comes in handy (practical, see) at lunar eclipse time on the 25th, when you require some firm foundations to stand your ground on when it comes to certain folk of an unpredictable or restless nature.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
The strong eclipse energy around the 10th suggests your attention is on the long-term stabilising of certain situations, particularly regarding joint finances or agreements, and it’s settling into a position and not budging that is attractive to you now.  From midmonth it’s hard to get clear about this and other things (so don’t force it for now), and a powerful planetary alignment around the 20th speaks of another step in the long-term emotional make over you’ve been experiencing for some time linking to home and family relationships, while emotional communication during the final week of May might bring a real sense of renewal and fresh start.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
An important solar eclipse on the 10th suggests there are important agreements and contracts to focus on this month. Relationships and partnerships in general are at the forefront, but particularly in this context of reaching or signing new agreements. There’s also a very powerful planet combo that links to your communication and daily schedules somehow; maybe an unpredictable situation is stressing you, or you’re restless for more freedom in a certain way. Whatever it is, events from the 20th are about moving stuck or sticky energy in situations regarding this.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
There’s a contrast of energy this month; vibes up to the 10th are all about your persistence and staying power with the current form of your daily grind. It’s not about commitment to the process; it’s more about your stubborn refusal to accept less than a strong sense of stable right now. After the 10th there’s a more flexible, light and changeable you emerging, and matters of the heart seem to matter more than grounded practical concerns, but don’t be fooled by appearances, the lunar eclipse in your sign on the 25th suggests your ‘serious’ side benefits enormously from the support of your light-hearted perspective.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
Well now, it’s not often that Capricorn commits creatively, wholeheartedly and unashamedly to fun and good times for no good reason and just for the sake of it, but here we have a month where this is an overriding theme. The eclipse on the 10th says this is your theme for some time to come too, and that you will be transformed in and by your playful process. Also, there’s another chapter in the personal make-over that was started last summer somehow too. It’s a kind of clearing the past to make room for the future, emotionally or physically; which is all good, yet intense at times, in the letting go.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
There’s a stability seeking solar eclipse on the 10th. Eclipses often symbolise events happening that are catalysts for change somehow; not necessarily big or dramatic events, just situations that seed future developments in a significant way. Home and family, ancestors, the past, comfort zones, and close emotional ties are spotlighted for this reason this month. There’s also another chapter in the story of your spiritual or vocational calling; think back to last summer and how certain communication transformed and renewed your sense of purpose. It’s happening again from the 20th, and particularly under the fun filled full moon eclipse on the 25th.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Friends may come, friends may go (especially under the transformative power of events during late May) but there’s plenty to rely on regarding communication this month. A stable and secure solar eclipse on the 10th suggests words are your rock and support; something of value that connects you to yourself and others in a way you can rely on. This serves you well under the more changeable energies in situations from midmonth, particularly around the 20th when money and friendship might clash, and around the 25th, when a lunar eclipse speaks of being pulled in different directions at once.

Full Pink moon in Scorpio (with partial lunar eclipse) on Thursday 25th April 2013, Pluto square Uranus 25th May.

I do wish the moon was actually about to turn pink on Thursday! It's the correct shade of moon glow in my opinion :)  but sadly not, this Pink moon is only named after a spring plant that is prolific in North America at this time of year.

From an astrology perspective the Pink moon is the annual full moon in Scorpio, the sign of renewal and rebirth. It’s the time of year when the sun (currently in the earthy and stable sign of Taurus) stands exactly opposite the moon in Scorpio - at 9pm London time on the 25th April, to be exactly exact J - and this full moon is also a partial lunar eclipse (full moon eclipse is also called lunar eclipse) which in astrology terms gives it a little more va va voom  impact-wise than just any old full moon.

I feel drawn to write about this lunar eclipse because the planet patterns look interesting, and also because one of the major planet patterns of the year, Pluto square Uranus is underway (exact on May 25th, but active long before and after that time), and as Pluto is the ruling planet of Scorpio it means a lot more attention than usual is on all things Pluto/Scorpio related.

If I could give this annual full moon in Scorpio a name it would be the Unfinished Business moon. Pluto is retrograde at this time of year (where it appears to be moving backwards in the sky), which in Pluto language is about going back to clear the clutter, or maybe the clutter coming back to haunt you a little…  Pluto itself is all about the clearing and recycling process of life, physically, mentally and/or emotionally, which allows a natural transformation and evolution process to happen in all kinds of ways.

So this Pluto retrograde and Scorpio moon might coincide with stuff being brought back or brought up that needs dealing with; unfinished business that was swept under the carpet deliberately or accidentally. What was lost is rediscovered and what got buried under more pressing priorities is brought to life again, for the purpose of renewal and rebirth.

We have got treasure in store from all this but don’t worry if at first a specific situation makes your heart sink to see the past repeating itself; don’t fret, its not same old same old…it’s all about to be updated and rebooted…. Pluto squaring (challenging) the future focused planet Uranus means trust that the process you are going through now, whatever the situation, is pulling what is valuable from your past into the future, while letting go of what isn’t necessary for moving forward from here. It’s the old you transforming into a new you, in other words, through gaining a sense of closure and of tying up loose ends on what was unfinished business up to now.

Just remember Pluto square Uranus isn’t  usually a gentle prod, it’s usually more like a powerful shove in the shoulder blades into letting go of the past in order to accept an unknown or unfamiliar future, and all the feelings that go with that. It’s really a form or version of us we are letting go of, whatever the situation looks like, in order to accept a new version of us that is unfamiliar and unknown to us (scary as that is all we have to rely on and lean on). This translates in everyday life as challenges that pull the best out of us, that evolve us, and spiral us into a new relationship with ourselves first, and then the world.

The lunar eclipse chart for Thursday shows how the momentum is building in this, and what I like about this chart is the Neptune energy working nice n easy to soften any hard feelings and dissolve old hurts and stored resentments, allowing us to let go and move forward with a more open hearted approach to new/old situations.

The message, as always with strong Pluto/Scorpio symbolism in planet patterns is trust the process, it’s rebirth and renewal of your life in some way… don’t cling to the past form or structure of a situation as 'that was then this is now', and really it’s just an old ‘you’ that you are clinging to, whatever form the situation would take. Allow the new forms and structures to reveal themselves, they are this way right now because they will evolve to best support the emerging new you. It's time to step into the unknown and meet yourself in whole new way :)

April 2013 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
There’s a really special new moon in Aries on the 10th; it’s special coz it symbolises important new beginnings for you, as well as in some key relationships. It suggests a busy month ahead, full of activity and challenge that you’re feeling ready for. Mercury in your sign from the 13th suggests new and improved communication (unpredictable but inspired around the 21st), and also from the 20th your attention turns to matters of finance and resources. The lunar eclipse on the 25th amplifies any sense of imbalance when it comes to shared or joint finances; maybe confidence needs working on?

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Up to midmonth (especially the 10th) it might feel you’ve no choice but to go with the full flow of things. Full force might be a better description, as some situations move at quite a pace, particularly regarding certain relationships, but knowing your own priorities makes an easier experience of all this. From the 15th your ruling planet Venus enters your sign, followed by the sun on the 19th and Mars on the 20th, which means you’re more aware of your own good qualities. You’re more determined, grounded and comfortable in your own skin than you have been for a long time, so don’t underestimate yourself during the final week of April.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
It’s a busy time socially this month, new friends and new faces and places are all manifesting, symbolised by a very active new moon on the 10th in this area of your chart. Romance links to friendship or friends of friends, and this new moon is also about feeling more supported regarding your most cherished hopes and dreams. You are at your most intense and uncompromising around the 20th, and a lunar eclipse on the 25th suggests extra responsibilities or tasks coming your way, which requires you to trust your own process of working with them.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
There’s never been a time quite like this for pushing forward with career plans. With so many planets in the angle of your chart that deals with reputation and ambition, including a mega motivated new moon on the 10th, there’s going to be plenty of activity and movement. Midmonth on, creative work is also a focus of your attention, and a lunar eclipse on the 25th suggests the time has come to take yourself more seriously in this respect. Regarding romance, friendship can become more but you have the brakes on for some reason, while trust issues might come to a head in existing relationships.

 Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
Great month for travel! Especially around the 10th under an incredibly action orientated new moon. So no lying around by the pool, it’s movement and challenge you’re after, to keep the momentum going. And you aren’t just craving new horizons through travel, the student in you is hungry for new perspectives and views through education too, so sign up somewhere for some food for thought. Career and ambition is more of a priority from the 20th and a long-term looking lunar eclipse on the 25th calls your attention to balancing stability and security both at work and at home.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Some people might not like it when you put yourself first, but it’s kind of beyond your control for most of April thanks to certain situations that are demanding you place yourself as your priority. The new moon on the 10th speaks of getting the ball rolling on new ventures, and is also very much about moving forward into a new sense of emotional intimacy in key relationships. There’s a passionate, feisty vibe in romance to make the most of, but a lunar eclipse on the 25th suggests some communication feels blocked or inhibited. Love needs no words of course.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
Loads of planets are lining up in the relationship angle of your chart this month. This angle also covers contracts and agreements, both business and personal, and it all means lots of energy channelled to these areas of your life, lots of movement and action; and passion too, especially around the 10th during a relationship themed new moon. All kinds of new stuff gets started this month, and it’s easy to stay motivated and on track. Finance and purchases have your attention after midmonth (especially lunar eclipse time on 25th) when you are challenged to focus on what you have rather than what you don’t have right now.

 Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
A number of planets gather in your health and fitness chart, which includes an action-orientated new moon on the 10th. It’s all about new beginnings, and as you’re feeling extra motivated it’s a good time to join a gym or start with a new health regime.  April is also about streamlining your daily schedules, so maybe expect some challenges that you’re ready to meet head on with solutions. From the 20th there’s a strong focus on relationships with certain situations coming to a head or reaching a turning point, especially around the 25th under a powerful lunar eclipse in your sign.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
Your creative juices are in full flow this month, so find some fabulous way of channelling all that inspiration. An action packed new moon on the 10th symbolises new creative ventures and entertaining ideas that are there to manifest. It’s also about romance; the fun of it, and the passion of it, so you might feel highly motivated to make the right moves when it comes to matters of the heart. From the 20th you’ve a reflective or meditative side coming out in response to circumstances, which inspires you differently during eclipse time on the 25th, meaning sometimes stillness attracts solutions too.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
This month is about comfort zones and creative spaces. Up to around midmonth but especially around the 10th, home and family matters are the priority and there’s also sub-priorities to sort within that too; it might be a challenge having such a busy and buzzing comfort zone right now, but you are built for it and so will enjoy the increased activity. From the 15th and especially around eclipse time on the 25th your creativity soars and grounds you at the same time while social life and romance are also cherished anchors to your earthy nature.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
You are on a mission to get your message across this month. Talk about assertive action on communication, you have it, and yes you’ll probably talk about that too. The new moon on the 10th symbolises your brave new message for the world, and also the message the world has for you, which you might enjoy hearing if you stay quiet long enough to listen (not easy around the 21st). Also, though you value your private side and enjoy the stability it provides, the very public lunar eclipse energy on the 25th might be your kind of comfort zone too.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
First half of April focuses on finances, also purchases, property and valued possessions; especially new ones. You might be feeling more motivated than ever to find ways to allow yourself what you want, and the new moon on the 10th speaks of new ideas and action that takes you comfortably in the right direction. This doesn’t include impulse purchases though, which might make you uneasy after the initial high (tempting around the 21st); so challenge the compelling voice that says buy now or never, or you’ll forget flexibility and choice was part of what you wanted (easier to do during final week)

March 2013 Horoscopes

Aries
21st March – 20th April
Up to around the 12th it’s about going with the flow rather than fighting the direction of current events (which isn’t a bad thing). In doing so, you’re rewarded with the kind of insight and inspiration you might have missed otherwise; which is useful from the 20th when the sun moves into your sign, changing your attitude and your approach almost overnight. The full moon on the 27th suggests the full force of your uncompromising nature is unleashed, along with the consequences; Talk about full steam ahead, there’s no going back from whatever you set into motion at this time.

Taurus
21st April – 21st May
Up to midmonth, there’s a mega line-up of planets in the friendship, groups and gatherings area of your chart. This suggests situations linked to these matters have your full attention at this time, and the new moon on the 11th symbolises new beginnings underway here, regarding people or places that are a better match for your lifestyle and future intentions than ever before. Partners or potential love interests seem swept up in their goals and passions from the 12th, and from the 22nd you might feel there’s no choice but to take action on certain goals and desires of your own.

Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
It’s all happening in the career and reputation angle of your chart this month, as many planets symbolise your concentrated flow of energy and attention towards this area of life, along with matters involving your long term plans and ambitions. A new moon on the 11th represents some new opportunities, and there’s a change of direction or turning point around the 17th that feels important to you. The latter half of the month also focuses on your involvement with groups and gatherings. Friendships, networking, teamwork etc are all calling you to action, which feels intense and positive around the 27th.

Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Philosophy, education, or travel is irresistible to you now, as the call to broaden your horizons (and therefore your perspective on life) beckons, despite any attachment to existing comfort zones (especially around the 11th). You might feel no choice but to go with the general flow of circumstances till midmonth though, as some finer details cause brain fog, which can cloud clarity about your next steps, but beyond that, especially during the final week of March, there’s plenty of reason and opportunity to bring your direction, goals and sense of purpose into stronger, clearer connection and action.

Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
It can’t hurt just to slow down slightly up to midmonth (you won’t have time to after that, believe me), especially if you feel out of step with yourself at all, in order to double check your calculations and any small print you have an investment. Around the 17th you might notice a turnaround in certain matters with others, where things feel clearer and less prone to mistakes or misunderstandings, and from the 22nd, especially around the 27th, expect the unexpected in all kinds of unusual, exhilarating and probably disruptive ways. Acting with individuality and uniqueness is the cause, and the effect of this.

Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
This is a month of fresh perspectives on certain contracts and agreements, while some relationships take on new life and meaning. Old contracts and agreements that no longer serve who you are now, can dissolve amicably at this time, so don’t fear that upheaval and sense of loss are necessary for significant change and transformation to take place; all that is required is acceptance that more is in store than you can imagine from your current standpoint, and a willingness to believe you deserve it. A bit of faith in your unknown future will manifest some supportive stepping stones, so big leaps aren’t necessary.

Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
You seem to attract problems this month, or so it appears anyway; probably because you’re more finely tuned to solutions right now. In other words you’re the answer that people are looking for. But don’t analyse this too deeply or you’ll lose the magic of your approach. Just go with your own flow and enjoy being the piece of the puzzle that others have been waiting for. There’s a full moon in your sign around the 27th, reflecting how full on and power packed certain relationships are for you and if you were unsure about priorities with others before now, you’ll be a lot clearer soon.

Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
You are at your best creatively when you can dive into what you’re doing and fully immerse yourself in it, mind body and spirit. No half measures or testing the waters, it’s all or nothing with you. March is one of the best times for many a moon for doing just that, so no holding back on your vision of what is achievable within creative projects, and also matters of the heart, as your romantic vision only requires your approval too. A feisty but fair full moon on the 27th is about an awakening related to health and fitness; recognising priorities, in other words.

Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
So much revolves around home and family matters for much of the month, as well as creative projects and general fun and good times in the latter half. A new moon appears on the 11th, in your comfiest comfort zone, symbolising how events this month encourage new faith in home and family situations. From the 12th you don’t need telling twice to get moving on creative pursuits and matters of the heart, and what happens around the 27th reflects how deeply you desire to triumph over opposition to your goals, even when the worst opposition is from your own doubts.

Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
It’s not the easiest of months to maintain a sense of perspective about certain matters, but keep trying as communication is a key focus for March and saying it how you see it will likely occupy much more of your energy and attention than usual; in other words, don’t forget that feelings aren’t facts. Also, your home and family chart shows a surprisingly powerful and busy full moon building up to the 27th which translates as lots of activity in and around comfort zones that can inspire abrupt or sudden change that is not necessarily unwelcome.

Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
There’s a mega line-up of planets in the area of your chart that deals with income and resources, which means more reasons to focus strongly on this area of your life are cropping up as March unfolds. And that will be interesting as you’re normally a bit fuzzy around those matters specifically; preferring a more general, burden-free, go with the flow approach. Second half of March has big news regarding communication, especially around 22nd and 27th. It’s a bold, spontaneous time for your comms but is it courage or recklessness that pushes you forward? It can feel like both this month.

Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Wowza, up to 6planets and an asteroid are hanging out in your sign at times this month, which reflects how you’re at the centre of the action and ready for such attention. A fabulous new moon in your sign on the 11th suggests a significant new start of some sort is revealing itself, while a change of mind around the 17th indicates a change of approach from you compared to recent weeks. From the 12th and particularly around the 22nd and 27th, finance and resources have your full focus and as March brings out your impulsive, unpredictable side, review your priorities in advance.

Update: It's not the end of the world (part one)

Remember that day last December when everyone thought it was going to be the end of the world? December 21st, the end of the 5000 year cycle in the Mayan calendar? Gave a few people the heebie jeebies? Made a few news readers crack that 'fun' smile they normally keep for ufo stories?

The pic below (click to enlarge) is a reminder of what the sky looked like that day. The big pointy triangle is a Yod, aka finger of fate or finger of God, which was part of all the hoo-ha, as complete Yods are less common than other planet patterns (this is when they have a central line running from point to base within the triangle, formed by two planets standing opposite each other).

Anyway turns out of course it wasn't the end of the world, but it felt like it to me, as this was the day I was diagnosed with grade 3 aggressive breast cancer. How mad is that? I do pick my days! And it wasn't intentional to be in hospital that day, believe me; I was supposed to be getting the Christmas turkey from Marks and Spencer, but instead I was being fast tracked in for tests to avoid holiday delay; and I suppose a yod is not known as the finger of fate for nothing.

The reason I am mentioning this is not just coz it's an unlucky coincidence, but because I am intending looking at some of the astrology of my journey from that day. There were some interesting links between my chart and the Yod chart, and I am noticing that it doesn't end there... events since then are being described perfectly in planet patterns time and time again.

So, I am intrigued enough to go public and make some notes. It's taken me this long to get started coz I am well out of practice blogging! I also had surgery early January to get rid of the tumour and am just feeling back to normal now. I plan to look back at some of the significant events over the past few weeks, including the different kinds of healing I am embarking on; I also have chemo and radiotherapy to go yet, so am curious as to how astrology is going to be playing out during this time for me.

I have decided the message from the universe about my diagnosis was 'it's not the end of the world', but I don't know quite how I feel about seeing the whole thing reflected so vividly in my birth chart and in the current sky map; maybe I will find out the more notes I make? Anyway, that's all for now, more to come soon.
