Aries
21st March – 20th April
There’s a new moon eclipse on the 4th focusing on career and ambition, adding to the momentum you’ve already got going on this recently. New moons indicate a new feeling or impulse brewing, and eclipses help to ground and make sense of this new emotional direction. There seems to be a theme revolving around relationships within this, where there’s the feeling of having to overcome brick walls and limits, in the reservations of others. Jupiter moving into your sign this month helps with this, as does the change in how you view all this that comes with Saturn retrograde after the 25th.
Taurus
21st April – 21st May
The new moon eclipse on the 4th is about travel and education for you; it’s mind-expanding experiences you are after really, so anything that takes you there is going to catch your eye this month (and beyond as eclipses usually have far-reaching effects). Your ruler Venus is in the mood for the adventure of the unknown from the 7th, and the experience hungry Jupiter is in go with the flow mode for the foreseeable from the 23rd, so it’s likely there’s no stone left unturned in your quest for some meaningful moments capturing and contemplating your views of the bigger picture and your place within it.
Gemini
22nd May – 21st June
It’s a busy month for Gemini; there are answers to questions and solutions to problems, usually arriving when you least expect them and when you aren’t hitting the issue head on. For example, beware of clashing perspectives around the 11th; let others have their view and you’ll find your position becomes more stable. There’s info coming to light around the 18th that transforms a situation (maybe links back to December), and harmony seeking Venus moves into your relationship zone from the 7th. Also, opportunity planet Jupiter influences social life from the 23rd, and don’t let communication blocks get you down around the 25th.
Cancer
22nd June – 22nd July
Both the new moon on the 4th and the full moon on the 19th are significant for you this month. The new moon eclipse in your house of relationships indicates a new emotional direction coming into view over the coming weeks or months in this area of your life (especially around the 25th). The full moon is in your sign on the 19th, and it’s about emotional fulfilment - or the feeling of lack of it - and it can help move your emotions forward in situations that have felt stuck. Oh, and opportunity planet Jupiter moves into your career and status zone from the 23rd.
Leo
23rd July – 23rd August
On the 4th, there’s a new moon eclipse influencing your approach to health and wellbeing. This is the time of New Year resolutions and this eclipse is suggesting you have the longterm view and commitment to see your preferences through for the long haul. It’s a great month for developing a workable plan of action, as you’re prepared to take things step by step, but allow for changes to plans from the 25th, as a review may be required. Also, both Mars and the sun move into your relationship zone (16th and 20th), focusing your attention in the kind of way that makes things happen.
Virgo
24th August – 22nd September
Fun and amusement is something you take very seriously at the moment, with so many planets focusing energy in this area of your chart right now, including a new moon eclipse on the 4th, which makes entertainment a sort of New Year’s resolution. Linked to this somehow is a focus on finances, especially around the 25th, when Saturn retrograde indicates a necessary turning point or change in your attitude on this. Relationships can be suddenly stormy around the 11th when it’s too easy to get the wrong end of the stick; and deep around the 18th, when you or others feel secretive or silent.
Libra
23rd September – 23rd October
It’s a significant month for Libra: Jupiter, planet of positivity, optimism and opportunity moves into your relationship zone for the foreseeable from the 23rd. Jupiter brings expansion and opens doors, as well as providing a refreshing sense of meaning and purpose to what it touches, so both new and existing connections are going to benefit hugely from this influence. Just what you need when a new moon eclipse on the 4th challenges your comfort zone and close emotional attachments. Saturn retrogrades in your sign from the 25th, which might have you changing your approach to a lot of situations; even retreating from some (for now).
Scorpio
24th October – 22nd November
There’s a new moon eclipse influencing all communication on the 4th. Eclipses tend to have longterm effects, so events around that time are likely to prove significant in the long run, or be far reaching somehow; which might be interesting, as at the same time, love planet Venus is in your sign putting a romantic twist on certain situations and a financial focus on others. Jupiter moves into the health and wellbeing angle of your chart from the 23rd; firstly it increases energy levels hugely, but also it increases your positive outlook and expectation – if it feels good, it is good, is the Jupiter motto.
Sagittarius
23rd November – 21st December
2011 kicks off with a new moon eclipse in your house of finances on the 4th. Eclipses are associated with significant events that trigger longterm changes; here it’s about a different approach to current limitation or obstacles, as there’s a strong Saturn link (especially around the 25th). There’s unpredictable energy around the 11th, which presses your buttons big style, and the challenge is to keep reaching for the positive perspective of others, even when it’s hard to see. But good news comes from loved-up Venus entering your sign from the 7th, and your ruler Jupiter starting a mega fun-filled adventure from the 23rd.
Capricorn
22nd December – 20th January
There’s a new moon eclipse in your sign on the 4th. This is big news for Cap, as it means whatever happens around that time is going to help set your direction for the new year ahead. It’s likely that you are looking longterm at that time, and thinking about career or ambitions, and of ways to overcome setbacks or obstacles; and this is what the eclipse highlights or magnifies in you, especially emotionally. Your ruler Saturn goes retrograde (appears to move backwards) on the 25th, and it doesn’t mean a wrong turn, more like time out to review current approach to plans.
Aquarius
21st January – 18th February
There’s a lot that feels out of your hands for much of the month, and the challenge is to go with the flow without feeling at the mercy of uncontrollable factors. Not easy with a powerful new moon eclipse on the 4th, and an intense meeting between Mercury/Pluto on the 18th. But from the 16th, Mars moves into your sign, followed by the sun from the 20th. This is going to brighten your view considerably, and added to that, Jupiter starts its long journey through your communication zone from the 23rd, so it’s likely there’s good news to give and receive on the way.
Pisces
19th February – 20th March
Magnetic Venus moves into your career and ambition zone from the 7th, helping to smooth your path forward and attract the right people your way. This helps counteract some challenging energies in situations and guides you to the path of least resistance, especially related to groups or gatherings, or any situation that currently feels like an unknown quantity or that has hidden depths. Lucky planet Jupiter moves into your house of finances from the 23rd, which is always a healthy, helpful influence to have around as Jupiter brings endless opportunity for increase (although that means in spending too).

Hey beautiful barbara, Happy new year i hope all your wishes come true, again your horoscopes are great thanks.
why thankyou :) happy new year to you too!!
Thanking my lucky stars to have found your stellar site! What do you make of the new sign, Ophiuchus? There was a brief article on HuffingtonPost... Happy 2011!
happy 2011! thanks for telling me about this... I tend not to read the news so i wouldn't have known there was a such a kerfuffle about it! will have a read up on it... my first thoughts are that I would like to include it as i LOVE the symbolism of it, but it's been around for quite a while... i remember a similar kerfuffle a good few years ago about it. I am not going to change the dates of the signs just because someone has decided we all have to though... i was like that about Pluto, its still a planet to me :) but maybe that means i am a stubborn Taurus instead of a flexible Gemini then. :D
will have to write something about this I think, thanks again for letting me know!! xxx
