Full Blue Moon In Aquarius 21st August 2013

So it’s the second full moon in the sign of Aquarius, which means we have a blue moon. Yep, it’s true they don’t happen that often, and this ‘once in a blue moon’ idea harmonises well with the symbolism of the sign of Aquarius too, which is all about one offs, uniqueness and rare happenings.

A full moon symbolises emotional fulfilment, or the painful awareness of the lack of it. It’s about timing, movement and momentum; situations that have been stuck or at stalemate often start to shift at full moon time. Again, in this particular case, it’s all likely to reflect and relate to a current ‘once in a blue moon’ experience we having in our lives right now, defined by unusual or uncommon events unfolding; a break in the normal routine.

News Of Sun's Magnetic Field Reversing

So its a weird thing that I noticed early on when studying astrology that what is in the news reflects the symbolism of the skies. 

 At the moment the sun is making a lovely angle to planet Uranus (called a trine). The aspect links Sun and Uranus together and mixes and merges all their symbolism. Uranus is the planet that is associated with revolutions, disruptions, breaks of routine and disruption of the prevailing order. It also is associated with electricity and magnetic fields, as well as the magnetic poles of a planet (as Uranus is the planet with the wonky axis). So the announcement that the sun is about to experience a magnetic pole shift that will reverse its polarity, fits purrrrfectly with the astrology at the moment (especially as yesterday was new moon in Leo, a time of something new from the sign the sun rules). New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus 9th/10th May 2013

The new moon solar eclipse in Taurus that is happening during the early hours of May 10th (UK time) is a solid sign of moving in the right direction toward more stability and security in matters that matter most to you.

New moons are about new beginnings while solar eclipses seed events that are important gateways to future experience somehow. In earthy Taurus this is future experience of the tangible and touchy feely sort.

If you’ve had your head and heart in gear at all over the past weeks during pondering and decision-making time, a way forward will have been slowly getting your attention, a path emerging that stands you toward a specific direction, and this eclipse is the marker point if you like, of realising that this path has worth and value precisely because YOU want to follow it.
