July Horoscopes

21st March – 20th April
A new moon eclipse on the 1st helps you realise where you’ve been holding yourself in a discomfort zone when it comes to certain relationships. Keep lines of communication open on this around the 6th as solutions are in the airwaves. Midmonth asks for balance between career and home life (so much going on for you career wise it’s easy to neglect other areas); then a lovely blue moon on the 30th indicates new, fun and entertaining times suddenly in store; for friendship and in love. You’re the catalyst for it all, so take all the credit.

21st April – 21st May
July is a rollercoaster ride of emotional extremes in romance: week one is candlelit, soft focus and sentimental; week two brings out the communication control freak in you, when knowledge is power and you seek what is withheld. Midmonth, a Saturn square makes you stand-offish with self-doubt; but wait till around the 30th when an attention-attracting new moon boosts self-worth and self-esteem in a big way for love and romance, and also helps you appreciate you. It’s also around then you become aware you’ve more friends than you might have realised.

22nd May – 21st June
A difficult eclipse on the 1st brings awareness of over-commitments to projects and plans that should be fun but aren’t feeling that way right now. It’s in the realisation you might be overdoing the responsible attitude that you start to let others take up the slack and get contributing creatively in their own way too. In this way, the difficult eclipse becomes a blessing in disguise, helping to focus you more keenly into speaking up and speaking out for yourself when needed. However, remember facts are foggy around a work situation at the end of July, so silence is golden till the full picture becomes clear.

22nd June – 22nd July
Big month for you, Cancer: a new moon eclipse on the 1st in your sign, and a blue moon on the 30th. Both indicate significant personal change and direction-shaping events. The eclipse on the 1st raises relationship issues, especially with family. It’s not unusual to feel a lack of support when you need it most, under this planetary pattern, but the positive side is a more potent experience of your own inner strength and stability, especially midmonth. End of the month is about the kind of work and money opportunities that do only seem to happen once in a blue moon.

23rd July – 23rd August
Events this month seem to build on each other, like a preparation for what happens around the end of July; for example, great communication that might put you in touch with ideas that come in useful later; there’s also career focus from the 7th that boosts confidence and opens doors, but it’s from around the 23rd, when the sun moves into your sign, that things seem to really start taking shape, also during the new moon on the 30th. Neptune indicates temporary lack of focus at that time, especially regarding finances, but don’t let that distract you from what matters most to you.

24th August – 22nd September
It’s tempting to burn some bridges this month, when money or property issues overshadow friendship; it’s because in general there’s a strong urge to cut losses and cut loose, in reaction to feelings of restriction that are hugely magnified by the eclipse energy on the 1st. It’s the right instinct, but is the bridge-burning necessary? Only you know for sure. As your intuitive and gut feelings are in great shape right now, you don’t get far with just facts and logic alone, so make sure any decisions are yours and no one else’s, made with heart, not just the head.

23rd September – 23rd October
Don’t let pressure get to you, especially during the first week, as there’s a responsibility-laden eclipse on the 1st which makes you more aware of feelings of duty, and particularly a fear of disapproval from others if you fail to meet certain obligations. Just knowing this can relieve pressure though, as it’s up to you how much their disapproval really matters. Apart from this there’s good vibes around friendship, and also groups and gatherings, where anything or anyone that is a bit different or unconventional is like a breath of fresh air for you. Romance flows in this vibe too, especially around the 30th.

24th October – 22nd November
If you’ve been waiting for news on the career front, there’s potential good news indicated around the 5th. There’s romantic developments around the 7th that feel great; it’s a deeper more stable vibe for attached Scorps, while those looking for love might meet a great opportunity at that time (don’t be afraid to be the one to strike up a conversation). Work is again well-starred from the 23rd when the sun, then Venus, moves into this angle of your chart. The new moon on the 30th symbolises some sparkling new beginnings work-wise. There’s also the indication that you’re mixing business with pleasure too.

23rd November – 21st December
Finances feel on a much firmer footing first half of the month; it’s a blend of expansion and transformation thanks to Jupiter/Pluto, as it indicates endless faith in what’s ahead, even though you’re in the dark about the details. It’s a sure way to attract promises that do deliver. It’s an excellent month for travel, especially last minute plans. Romance and travel mix well, particularly around the 30th (new moon); if there’s no literal travel you are going to feel you’re on a journey somehow, either in love or in learning; as education or training feels like food for thought that satisfies.

22nd December – 20th January
The new moon eclipse on the 1st falls in your relationship zone. It indicates new paths, new attitudes and perhaps a dynamic distraction from weighty work pressures. This eclipse energises your resolve to stand your ground when it comes to sharing responsibility; you are wanting a more fair and equal distribution of duties, and as long as you stand firm in your knowing that this is possible somehow, the burden of awareness of imbalance won’t sit heavily only on your shoulders. Balance is a recurring theme for you this month, with the message to play as hard as you work.

21st January – 18th February
There’s the kind of communication that suits you down to the ground this month: enlightening, original, unique, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns; a very satisfying flow encouraging you to look at even difficult current circumstances in a whole new light. The full moon on the 15th emphasises this; go with your flow and watch how things move in your favour when you don’t try too hard to make it all work out, or to make others understand your position. Practice this plenty by the new moon on the 30th, and you’ll gain the brilliant benefits this energy has on offer.

19th February – 20th March
The eclipse on the 1st amplifies any creative blocks you have right now. This is a good thing, as it draws attention to why this is happening; it’s all just a case of not fully trusting your own ability, which temporarily pushed you away from your own agenda. Around the 4th there’s a taste of how easy the inspiration flows, but midmonth you allow others opinions to affect proceedings; the lesson is their approval isn’t important. From the 23rd you are back in the flow, ready to welcome a solution-orientated and self-esteem boosting new moon on the 30th.
